TATA Indicom BroadBand(Vsnl) — poor service and maintenance

Respected sir, Dated:- 13/10/07

I Mr. Ramesh Bhatia had subscribed to Tata Indicom DSL connection on 6th April with id [protected]@vsnl.net with plan “power on & on 6-64kbps” (Receipt No. 1113452 and installation confirmation report No. 012432).

On 25th July, I renewed my account with power on & on 3-256kbps (Order No. 1329019 and Serial No. 6399093). This plan offered 3 months o[censored]nlimited download at 256kbps. The subscribe fees for this plan was three thousand two hundred and three rupees (Rs 3203)

However, 18th September onwards, I started facing a problem with the connection. I could access the internet for the maximum of two hours daily. Rest of the time, modem shows no link to the server (link light off).

Since 18th September, I am regularly contacting customer care (number[protected] at least twice a day. Every time I am provided with a complaint number (details attached). I also e-mailed the problem to customer care([protected]@vsnl.co.in), nodal officer(Nodalofficer.[protected]@vsnl.co.in) and authority (appellate.[protected]@vsnl.co.in). However no service representative came to check the problem & problem persisted.

Due to this, I am facing financial losses as I invest regularly in share market (basically intraday). As a result I and my family is facing lot of anxiety.

Hence in view of the above I kindly request you to look in to the matter and do the needful at the earliest possible.

I would appreciate the compensation for the disturbed service or a refund.

On the Tata Indicom internet site, nodal officer number is provided. Number written there is [protected]. According to me this number is wrong as it never rings.

i agree with the services provided by tata indicom is very poor or u can say they r good for nothing, they the attitude of Government servent, they r not like private sector such as bharti, 100% uptime.
they ever care about there consumers, Customer care service is just to misguide u make u calm, they dont know anything i[censored] ask them, they have just simple answer, sir it will be resolved soon, or within 24hrs, and for the same they will be fully assure u, and after 24hrs they rep is someone else and again the same answer is provided by them, i am too facing this problem, actully i am there comtomer from last four years when the service was provided by Dishnet, and they tookover the whole Dishnet. I am having connection with but of no use, it was on my address at bhogal which was shut down in cealling, then i treid it to shift my conncetion at jullena, in the area of NFC Dislam, but was refused due to non feasability (despite of many connection on the same address)and its a ridiculos that i got a call from there Area mangaer (syed) that i should take a new connection on the same address and they will give it to me,but they cant shift the same due to some internal ploicy. now the second attempt to shift it at my home again the same problem of non-feasability and they were ready to give the new coonection the same my home address, now again i had given the next address (there are many conncetion at jullena) i dint get the response till date after applying for approx 20days, in between i cntacted nodel officer and found that again my address is non-feasible, and on the same address i had enqiured new connection and i got a call 4 times from them to take a new connection. for the last one year i am not using broadband and paying my bills due to the fact that i had allready used there email ID for last four years and distributed to all my clients and for the same to make live my email Id i had to pay bills regularly to this VSNL.
they (TATA,RELIANCE BHARTI ect.)are the superpower of this country like America in the world, they run the Economy of the India, so U cant do any thing and had to leave all the things to the God. Trai is also mend for them, there is no law for them, they are the law in themself, the clause and agreement they had signed with u that we never intend to read the same and sign it , in the expectation that everything is written there is correct and it will fever u.
