[Resolved]  TCS — Refund of return file

Please meet the tax department personnel personally.
The procedure is that either
1) the cheque needs to be revalidated( this is difficult because the same officer who signed the original cheque has to sign again - the possibility is remote because he might have got transferred or retired or moved to diff role)
2) A new cheque will be resiisued and the new address noted.

So you can either send a letter or better still meet the personnel.

If you are salaried employee and in Mumbai, please call PRO Office at[protected] and give your PAN number. Or meet them in BKC Complex in C-12 block.
