[Resolved]  Temple — Question of sacred inside temple

Address: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am staying in bangalore, i went to coimbatore to visit temples. I surprised seeing slippers inside temple in 'Sri Ramalinga Sowdeswari Amman Temple' Raja Street ,Town Hall, Coimbatore. Those slippers are belongs to office workers inside the temple. When i enquired about it, one of the office person replied rudely and told pilgrims should not see other than god inside the temple. I request them to leave slippers outside temple but he told you can complain to anyone.

This incident was really surprised to me, seeing unresponsible temple office member and no preist against it. As i heard about tamilnadu and its familiarity for temple, especially coimbatore which is famous for people's respect, this incident inside temple really shocked me and my group members.

Even now if you go to this temple you can see office members silliper inside temple. Unfortunately i didn't caputred the context in my camera (Next time, if any chance i go again, i will take photo and attach).

I don't know how to proceed this issue further as i returned back to my place. This issue may be very small but it hurts pilgrim sensation and question about belief/sacred of temples in tamilnadu to outsiders.

Whoever sees this message, Please post you comment to escalate this issue to higher level or take forward this issue as possible as you can.

Thank you.
