I have applied for the policy of term insurance of Rs-25,00,000 six months ago IN VYARA BRANCH GUJARAT NEAR SURAT, DIST: TAPI.my proposal number 3356
I have undergone thorough medical checkup and reports for blood urine visited the referred physician by LIC. on three ocassions medical tess were complete. No deficiency from medical side is reported yet.
I have deposited initial sum of annual premium and all the required documents asked from me such as address proof, identity proof and all the detais required to apply for life insurance policy.
I am not getting any clear reply from LIC DAO, (manager)
most of the times the reply is that procedure in mumbai,surat is in progress so it will be over soon.
now i realise that probably medical fitness may not remain valid due to this delay from LICs part .
Please address my problem
I did not apply for other insurance companies as i beleived in credentials of LIC in past years
But now I doubt if such delays are taking place for issue of policy what would happen in case of some unfortunate event where my family would need support of insurance.
Whether i should continue to persue application of this policy ?
In such case please refund the whole amount with interest and provide me explaination why this issue should not be taken to consumer forum.
i demand immediate answer to my queries

Term Insurance — Delayed Policy
I have applied for a term Insuarnce policy of Rs.25.00 Lakh to cover my new home loan. I applied in Aug 2009 , and paid immediately. It is Dec 16th 2009 and they still have not given me the policy. They take atleast a month to respond to any query and then ask for more medicals.I feel they should either issue the policy or return my money whcih they are doing neither.
