[Resolved]  Thane Municipal Transport (TMT) — MOST IRREGULAR SERVICE ON ROUTE OF BUS NO. 56

I just started travelling from bus stop 'Tikujiniwadi- Kokanipada' since the last few days in bus route no. 56 which takes us till the Thane station and in the evening back to Tikujiniwadi. To my nightmare, till today, most of the days i have faced situations where there is no buses for an hour from Thane station and also from Tikujiniwadi. I understand that due to the flyover work in Godbunder road the buses do get delayed. However, i am sorry to say that in the evening the controller of TMT at Thane station releases 1 bus no. 56 after releasing 3 buses for pawar nagar and two buses from DharmachaPada. Does it not show the injustice that is shown to the residents of Thane who depend on the bus number 56 for getting home.
I rate the Transport service in Thane by the TMT as the worst in the world. Its service under bus route number 56 is the worst. The buses that are supposed to be scraped are being used in this route.The frequency of buses on this route are the worst and the public is at the mercy of the controller posted at Thane (West). Most of the times there are no buses for an hour, whereas buses on other routes are sent on surplus.
It is my humble request to the Hon'ble Standing Committee Chairman of Thane Muncipal Transport that it may stop its services on this route give a NOC to the BEST undertaking so that BEST can provide its service to the public in Thane.
