[Resolved]  The Calculus,Germany — Service charge without Service

Dear Sir,

I am Mr.jijomon Mathew from Kerala. I have been cheated by an Educational Consultancy in Delhi.Their address is

( The Calculus,G-81 2nd Floor, Middle Circle Connaught Circus New Delhi - 110001 India).

They contacted me for higher education service several times and send dozens of mails claiming free education in Germany, top universities , Salary of Rs. 33 lakhs per annum etc. For free education Service they charge and it is 57000/. Everything should pay in advance, also they will guarantee admission. You can go to their web-site and understand how they lure people to pay the service charge. As an MBA education cost much in India, one will think to do it in Germany.I have decided and paid money and documents as early as possible to go by march intake. But there as no admission in any of free education Universities. I have send them many mails and calls to give back my money paid in advance as I did not get admission to any free Universities as they claim. Only I have lost my time by calling and spending for communications. I have kept all email communications as a proof. I will explain my case clearly below:

They have charged me Rs.57,600/ as the service charge for getting admission in Germany( low fee paying University ) for my Post graduation course. I have given amount and the documents for application in the month of September to go for study in the month of March. Till now they did not arranged admission as per my request. I asked them to give admission in Low fee paying institute but they arranged an admission in an institute where more than Rs.10,00000/ as tuition fee. In addition I have to see my accomodation and food expences. I refused to go there as I cannot take that much amount. As per my requirement I need to get admission in low fee paying institute and for that only I have paid the service charge. Now they refuse to communicate and give back my money as they could not give exact service to me. They are threatening me that they will complaint against me if I call them again. I feel cheated, threatened and as per their request i resigned my job to prepare for going abroad. So, I am jobless and lost almost 1,50,000/ if I calculate my jobless period and my communication charge is too much as they did not give adequate answer. Now they are not ready to give back my money. I think that this is a way of cheating. There may be many students will be victim of this kind of cheating. So, I request to make a detailed enquiry to it and I am ready to give all the communications I have done to them. I have kept everything in mail. Sir, I am from a poor family. I cannot travel to Delhi for giving this complaint. Would you please help me to get my paid amount. This company was initially an IT company and only in 2002 they have started education as a business. If you require any more detail I am ready to give at any time. I believe in the Indian legal and police system and I believe that you will help me in this regard

My simple logic is that anybody will pay an amount for not getting the service he intended. or Can anybody charge an amount without rendering service. As per my knowledge they have only an expence of nearly Rs.3000/ for my whole applications to five institute.
