i got the same message as being the lucky winner from brandx.i called the no. for 2 min, and ran out of balance as it was an international no.[protected].So please guide me, whether to trust these people or not.my no is [protected]

I too received the the same message and I called this number: [protected]. At the start of the call it had slumdong milllinaire song, after that a recorded voice message of someone whose accent seems like that of indian( but remember this is a call probably to UK), after that it will get transfered to automatic response system and there seems to be some problem or intentionally done with it, when it asks for to select the service provider ( airtel, reliance ..etc), and it doesnot accept any selected number, and asks us to repeat the selection, and this will go on depending on your patience i guess... .

My final analysis: This looks like someone is benefiting when we make these ISD calls, i remember virgin mobile in india used to pay for received calls also when they launchded their services in india. We do receive many fraud mails daily for winning big cash prizes, and it looks like this is another type of fraud through mobile.I requrest the conerned authorities, to look into this fraud, and also all the service providers to block these messages, and take action on the sender.
