I am forwarding a copy of your ASD Notice dt.05.07.2013 and a copy of my email representation dt.07.07.2013 for your ready reference. And in this connection, I have also lodged my online web(CCMS)compliant on 08.07.2013 at 16.39hrs and on 11.08.2013 at 22.56hrs(Comp.Code TNEB 45725 & 47114 respectively). Since there is no response/reply from your side, I am sending this compliant to you on the above subject. Sir, According to your ASD notice, the Security Deposit held in my a/c incl. 9% interest is only Rs.183/-. But whereas I had already made caution deposits of Rs.3000/-+Rs.160/- apart from Meter caution deposit of Rs.2500/- and development charges of Rs.1400/-. What happened to those deposits and their interest? Therefore my account balance of Rs.183/-incl.9% int. shown by you appears to be wrong. Hence, I request you to kindly verify my previous deposits available in your books and those deposits are defenitely more than the required deposit. So, the ASD notice may please be reversed,which indicated my due date for payment before 30.09.2013. And i request that a reply may be given to me at the earliest. Thanking you, sir. For the categories of consumer under bi-monthly billing, the Security Deposit is equivalent to three times of the monthly average of electricity charges for the preceding twelve months prior to April 2013.The amount so calculated in your case is Rs.1163 Whereas the Security Deposit held in your account including interest at 9% p.a on security deposit is Rs.183.Hence the additional security deposit of Rs.980 (Rounded off to the next higher mutiple of Rs.10/-) has to be paid within the due date. If the payment is not made within the due date, your service is liable for levy of BPSC and disconnection of service connection as per regulation 14(5) of Tamil Nadu Electricity Supply Code.
