Pls be informed, for past few days continous rains have disturbed the delivery shcedule all over the city. Further, Mr. Rajesh Tomar is our delivery agent appointed by company to look after the deliveries in and around Civil Lines, New Delhi. As per the said agent the delivery boy met with an accident while on delivery schedule on 9th, Sept 2009 and the continous down pour and heavy rains since 10th sept 2009 till today are the reason for the inconvenience caused. We are trying our level best to arrange the delivery as soon as possible. We humbly request you to please bear with us.

Hi,

On 08.09.2009 you have picked a courier (consignment no. Z9786996) from Tulip Infratech Pvt. Ltd., Barakhamba Road, New Delhi in favour of my name (Lokesh Kumar Sahitya), which is require to deliver at my office address. But till today it’s almost 4 days, I didn’t receive my courier. I have spoken to Mr. Tushar/Ms. Deepali at ph. no.[protected]/[protected] but they gave me the ph. no. [protected] of area delivery shop Mr. Rajesh Tomar. Once I spoke to Mr. Rajesh, he replied “he only received the packet on 10.09.2009 but he is not in position to deliver the packet because of the shortage of staff and since it is not an authorized DTDC office so he does not bothered whether the packet deliver in time or not . he also argued come to his shop and collect the packet before 5 pm.

I am just curious:
1. How many days does DTDC take to deliver local courier within the New Delhi, since it’s already 4 days gone?
2. Why the courier handed over to delivery shop in 3 working days which is not an authorized DTDC office?
3. Is there no responsibility of primary booking office to check/know the status of any consignment?
4. Next 2 days i.e. Saturday and Sunday are weekly off in my office, now who will take the responsibly of the delivery in time?

Please explain.
