[Resolved]  Turn 10 - forza 3 — The discusting way the fm.net forums are being edited and posts deleted by doing so then used to sell a broken product and deny customer opinion

i completely agree with you, hold turn 10 to task and get some answers.

I recently purchased Forza 3 used. First, I was very dissappointed to discover some features such as the auction and vinyl selling was unavailable to me without codes. I would place a car for auction, and yet, it mysteriously was not showing up anywhere in the game. So, after some research, I discovered that there was a VIP pack for sale. After buying this, miraculously, my cars showed up in the auction block. Kind of a shady business practice that the industry is beginning to embrace so that they can get their share of the used game business.

EVEN BIGGER of an issue is the following. The major appeal with the game for me is the ability to create and design cars and vinyls and then sell them in the storefront. This is why I bought extra downloadable content. This is why I bought the game.

I made a few silly, clean humored vinyls with the words poo and poop in them. Within a day, the vinyls were placed "Under Review", and then a few days later deleted. I thought, no big deal, maybe the words mean something in another culture. So next, I made a few vinyls with a quasi-political opinion on an economic system of government. A day later, both of these were under review, and then taken off the storefront.

This really upset me. Here is a game in which in the "Top Downloaded" and "highest Rated" categories that has scores of mostly nude, sexist/sexually provocative pictures of women. Pictures that if in a work environment would be sexual harrasment. My clean humor is rejected, and vulgar pics are accepted??? I cannot make an opinion on an economic system of government, but they allow all this other stuff.

So, I created a sticker that said the following..."I cannot state an opinion on an economic system of Gov't; Socialism, on Forza. But I can draw nearly nude pics of women all day long...Forza censored" Within two minutes, it was under review, and then deleted equally fast. So I made another one, and all it said was..."The problem with censorship is that...(then it had two scribbles as if something had been highlighted out). this vinyl was taken down even faster than the other one.

My opinion was apparently not liked by some moderator at Turn 10, and so in a sense, they shut me down. I understand they are a sovereign business and can do what they want. But they need to understand that I bought a product under the premise of having access to certain features within reasonable limits.

I cannot find anywhere that I have violated their Terms of Service, especially with the last vinyl. My vinyls are certainly something that my 4 year old son could see without any issues. Yet, a lot of the content on Forza 3 is way beyond offensive in a much broader sense, and it is completely accepted within Turn 10! I want my money back for the Downloaded content, and I will vote next time with my dollar! I am done with Turn 10 and Microsoft Game Studios.

I have contacted Microsoft Xbox Live support, Turn 10, but have yet to receive a resolution. As far as I am concerned, they have unfairly restricted my access to certain aspects of the game and I feel as if I have been singled out for an opinion, rather than on content. Shame on them, and I am dissappointed, as I was a huge fan of the franchise.

I also had the issue of not being able to complain on their forums. They have banned any complaints to save face. It is simply poor business management!!!
