(A) 2001 (B) 2000 (C)1999 (D) 1998
Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad Uttar Pradesh, allahabad :- Gives answer Is (A) 2001, It is totaly incorrect
but correct Answer is (B)2000
Proof:-
Between 999 to 3000 = 1000,1001,1002....................................2999.
First term = a =1000
Common Difference = d = 1
l= aN = 2999
N=?
Using formula aN=a+(N-1)*d
2999=1000 + (n-1) *1
[protected] = N-1
1999 = N-1
N=2000
so coreect answer (B)2000
it is our kind request to HonourableSecretary, up.board Allahabad that please Modify your great fault about this question and earlier upload to correct answer (2000).
So correction the answer sheet 'A' in PAPER-1ENGLISHLANGKEY.pdf
