[Resolved]  Unitech Appt Capella — Cheated by Unitech in Project Capella

Dear Sir,

I booked an apartment in one of the Unitech project in Feburary 2008 under the cash down payment option. Project name is Capella in UniWorld City in Greater Noida MU Sector. I paid almost all (95%) amount by having the big amount of Loan from the HDFC Bank . Unitech promised me to provide the apartment before mid of year 2011 . Now almost one and half year past , no construction of building yet started. When we try to contact the Unitech ltd authorities, we never we able to contact appropriate authority and the always getting the misleading different-2 replies. I feel that I am cheated by the Unitech and they are utilizing my money wrongly.

I want to take the strict action against the Unitech and get our full money back with the current fixed deposit bank interest rate. I also requested make the laws strict against all the builders so no one cutomer will be cheated in future. Our Goverment should have pass some law for all the small and big builders and compay same as every security/retails banks deposits the amount to Indian Goverment for to secure the public money and this kind of rule should be apply with the projects so the builders will not initiate the multiple projects without having sufficient funds .
Please let me know how you can help me provide the justice so my money will be safe and guaranted to get back in case no appartment will delivered with in the time. At this point of time I will like to get my full money back with fixed deposit rate as I do not have any faith on Unitech Ltd.

Not buying any more flats from Unitech and bringing the fraud o[censored]nitech to public notice might act as a check for arbitrary methods employed by Unitech to loot people who want to become rich overnite.

Also guys don't be in a hurry for quick buck (by booking a flat and selling it in 2-3 months for quick profit)...
The era of quick bucks is over now...people have made money in the past ...but it doesn't look so in future...

I can understand your issues since you have already paid 95% of the money, but don't forget that Unitech is a huge construction company and have the resources with them that will help them execute projects quickly, so don't worry they will deliver on time, also in case the project gets delayed they will make sure that they will give you some compensation may be Rs. X / SQ FT. don't worry the project will complete and what I will suggest is instead of speaking to 10 different people check who's the project manager and try getting through him. Have faith all the best
