UNITECH THEY ARE PAYING EACH FLAT BOOKING TO BROKER 02% OF THE FLAT COST, ONCE CUSTOMER PAID IT CANNOT RECOVER FROM BROKER, SO UNITECH NOT ABLE TO PAY MONEY IMMEDIATLY .IF YOU ARE AGREE 02% CAN GET BACK MONEY

Yes I have booked a Flat in Unitech Unihomes Chennai, Thinking that Instead of Paying Rent to LandLord we can pay EMI...But then now after 2 Years of booking I refer myself to be foolish to believe in what Unitech promised.
I was informed that the Flat will be ready to occupy by Sep 2011, But till date 24 May 2012, The Tower in which I booked the flat has not been started. Dont Know when it will be started and when I will get it completed.
People will not even give you time when you go to Get the Documents for Loan or while booking, They were experienced in Cheating, and the employess dont take the responsibility to atleast answer to customer.
I reffered two of my collegues and one of them booked a villa, Now they were scolding me for that...
Instead of buying from Unitech you can buy any unapproved land and get it approved build a home and stay relaxed...

Have anyone successfully occupied the finished house at Unihomes. I have visited by last week. Around 50 homes are ready to occupy and i could see alredy one family is staying there.
After go through all reviews, I really don't want to invest on this Until i get some good response from this group.
Please advise!

Whether buyers are getting loan from Reputed banks for Unihomes-2 project now a days?
Is Unitech able to provide the required legal documents to the reputed banks now a days?
If above happens, think of booking a flat over there. Anybody confirm these please?

here that HDFC started to give loan.but i am not 100% sure.
and again the possition of geting the flat for Unihome 2 is not yet confirm.

Unitech as per the name it is big.but the workers who are attending the customer does not know how to inform the details about current work going on and about completion details to custoemr .customer side keen to know about the construction details and other facility details. if you are the customer executive you have tofull fill those. i think it is Unitech mistake and they are not ready to analysis how customer are treating while coming to see the site visit after book the site. but same customer executive behave different manner who are coming for new booking and giving all passive points as false inform ation to book the site and get the insentive.realy Unitech need to have look on this and need to move construction work past and keep them promise properly and if any delay at least they need to communicate so that customer plan accordingly.

These people are least bothered abt providing info about the construction progress to us.
I think we all should stay connected and United, cuz we are unable to find a clue on what is going to be their next Move !!!

Flat will be ready after may 2016, the work progress is going very very slow.quality of the work is very poor.

One more thing to keep in mind: These guys charge an "extra" amount as interest, than what is actually due, every time! This comes to about 3k in every demand.
Meaning, at each and every stage of construction, there will be an amount due. I was always paying this in time. Even then, I was shocked to see an item called "Interest charges" in every demand notice. Initially I didn't notice but when I realized this started happening regularly, I checked up with the right person after great difficulty (People keep on resigning, nobody from the original team that launched are there currently. The ones there are now, are even worse than the ones resigned and gone).
I was informed that this amount is actually the interest part, accrued on the service tax that was actually not demanded, so you never know how much will that be!!!
Because their systems (or may be they do it deliberately) are not designed to calculate the Service Tax, let us say your actual demand is Rs 100, 000 and the appropriate Service tax is about 5%. Then they should have demanded 5% on 100, 000 at the appropriate time. But because they are not doing that, they are doing it only at the next demand, they end up charging the accrued interest on that 5% not paid.
Confusing? Look for a flat elsewhere!!!

Unitech suggested me four financiers of which I chose HDFC. Then HDFC sanctioned the loan, but couldn't disburse it, as Unitech didn't obtain all necessary approvals. Three months I kept on getting letters levying me interest for a payment that HDFC couldn't pay, beuase Unitech hasn't got all the clearances.
Suddenly there are two interesting developments:
1. I start getting nasty call / visits from persons calling themselves Unitech's recovery agents ! Don't know what they are trying to recover. In fact, I should be recovering my money from a criminal organization like Unitech.
2. I also get calls from Unitech's own office, asking me to change the financier now, because a different financier is willing to go ahead and sanction the loan without all those clearances !
Well, a lesson for others !!!
