Universal Air Couriers Ltd UK — Use of company name for cheating by thieves

I received an e-mail that i had won a lottery on the basis of my e-mail ID without having bought a ticket.The emails I received contained the Logo of Camelot group and Universal Air Couriers LTD (UACL) . I was asked by the cheats to deposit an amount of Rs, 63310.00 into thr account of some Ibraham Shiekh SBI account no [protected] branch Borivali Mumbai by a so called UACL despachman Mr. Michael Phillips, which I didn't.The amount they said was needed as customs tax. Please verify so that no body else falls in their trap.

This company decline reverse payment for these charges, stating that it is against our professional policy towards ensuring the safe delivery of the parcel containing your cheque to you. That if a reverse payment is made, and something goes wrong, that you cannot sue the courier company or insurance company to recover the full value of the fund as stipulated in the cheque since payment for insurance cover was not made at point of mailing. With the above reason, reverse payment is completely ruled out.

Note: That your prize is protected by a hardcover insurance policy, which makes it impossible to open your parcel or deduct any amount from your winning cheque before it has been remitted to you.
