[Resolved]  Unknown — bribe forced for garbage collection

HI,
We are living in Shop street (near NR Colony Bus stop) Basavanagudi Bangalore 56004, we have a problem with the garbage collector, who is forcing us to bribe him 10-20Rs monthly basis for doing the job for which he is paid by government, if any one refuses to pay bribe, he is agitating with them and also threatening not going to pick garbage henceforth for them.

We had given complaint earlier with Bangalore commissioner Bharat lal Mina, they had put an inquire on this. later on this person came out in front of our house with big voice and foul language telling he is not taking bribe but it is his fee for doing this job???!!! , now he is telling 10Rs/Month not enough, instead he wants 20Rs/Month.

All the remaining residents have accepted this and paying him this money. I was not really quiet accepted with this action and hence writing this to your kind attention on this menace
(PN: Also we have lot of garbage collected in the conservancy back side of our residences, because of which lot of mosquitoes getting generated, this so called garbage collector wouldn't care for these things)
