Guys...
I think Raunak group is asking every flat owner to pay water charges extra.
I called up head office and talked to Shweta/Rohidas from admin team and she said it will take 1 and half year from now for TMC water.
And till then they are going to supply water by tankers.
I argued that the maintenance charge (2.5 Rs psf) includes the water charges and she said they are told by management to ask for extra water charges.
There is no way we should be paying extra for the water charges and that to at high price of 2.5 Rs psf.. They should reduce the maintenance charges in that case..
This is ridiculous and we should be united to take this case against the Raunak group.

I too agree with all o[censored] . I discussed the following points with Mr. Vijay from the builders office ---
1. Currently people who have taken possession before March have not paid any water charges and are also not paying anything towards water tanker right now, to this Vijay argued that soon he will be sending letters to these residents for water charges . I strongly doubt that he would do so or the residents would pay.
2. In phase 5 there is limited supply of water from TMC hence supply is done by tanker, there also no charges are borne by residents, the explanation given by Vijay is- the water charges are adjusted in maintenance charges. Then why cant he do the same for us ?
Apart from this there are lots of discrepancies in the possession letter, so i have not signed it so far.
I spoke to a legal advisor on the same, if we all can meet up we can discuss it better and am sure we can find some solution for this.Prashant i would request you to either post ur no. or give a call on my no. [protected].

I have booked the flat in phase-1. I agree to you guys. I also have one query, how come they get OC from TMC without having water. Those who have some legal guys connections, can we raise a query to TMC also? We should unite and write to Builder that we will not pay water charges.

Today when approached for possession i was asked to pay this water taker charges in addition to annual maintenance

I havent taken the posession yet. Any meetings, pls notify me on [protected]@yahoo.com so that i can ask my family members to attend it. Please do let me know for latest update. there is some news going on related to VAT...any impact of the same for us?

Hello all,
I also faced the same problem yesterday, 25th December when I approached builder for possession. They asked me to pay additional water charges for Tanker water. At the time of booking the representatives from builder gave me fake info. He told me that there is TMC water in Unnathi Woods and if there is a shortage of supply then they supply the bore-well water.
But the info coming now is really shocking for me.
I also want to get added in your association against Builder. Please let me know about the proceedings related to this issue on my e-mail [protected]@rediffmail.com

i have booked a flat in unnathi greens m facing the same issues of water charges by the builder.really dnt kno wht to do.Infact went to their office and facing the same issue of pay entire maintenence + water charges for possession.
have received letter from them stating i[censored] dnt pay the charges they will charge interest on the same which they have already mentioned in the letter.
It is too much for a salaried individual to pay loans + maintenence + water charges.
In fact was reading an article on the web which say due to increase in the population & complexes water shortages will be heavy nd going forward at 3 yrs water is nt gonna come.
Need help & suggestion on the same.infact was just about to go to the builder office for discussing again on the matter.
I suggest lets together talk to the builder on the same work out a way to resolve.

Apart from water are theere any other issues regarding this developer, i am planning to book for phase 6 so just doing background checks by visiting all such forums for any concerns regarding the developer and this project.

Water is basic need & they can't charge extra amount for water.
It must be cover under maintenance charge.
I have booked flate in Phase 1 o[censored]nnati Woods.
I think we should combine together & discuss with builder.
ALso need to check what is their practice in phase 4 & 5, in which pepole are already leaving.
