Sub: Very Inferior Quality of Parts and facing mutiple problems every month in Wagon-R Vxi model Year 2009.
Dear Sir
This is in Reference to frequent Complaint Observed in my Car Model Wagon-r Vxi, Registration No. HR 51 AE-0039, Purchase Date: 15/02/2009. I am observing a regular complaint in this Model and several times it went to Service Centre for Repairing/Replacement etc.
Summary of Purchase & Running Operation: Purchased from Batra Auto, Faridabad and Max. Serviced by AAA Agency, Delhi. Total KMs Covered Till Date: 25000 Km
Detail of Replacement/Repair (As all Repair Dates are not in Memory):
1. Repair of Door Loosening: Next Day from Date of Purchase, Till Today been Repaired 3 times
2. Loosening of Rear Side Plastic Foot Boards (Behind the Driver Seat): Next Day from Date of Purchase
3. Replacement of Hand Brake Wire/Clutch Wire: Within 2~3 Months
4. Replacement of FOG Lamp: Thermal Cracking of Glass
5. Replacement of Full Instrument Console: Trip Needle Fractured
6. Replacement of Power Window Switch: Switch Got Jam
7. Repair of LHS Power Window: after complaining Multiple times for Slow Speed of Power Window
8. Repair of Front Suspension System: Not Aware is either done or not as still Noise Come from Front Side
9. Remote Control Replacement: Locking Operation was malfunctioned
10. Mileage Low Complaint: Checked & Agreed by AAA Agency and Repaired
11. Gate Handle Lock Replacement
As this much of Replacement with 2 Yrs has raised a Question Mark on the Quality of Vehicle Sold to Me.
I did all the Service On time and even on 4th paid Service made a complaint regarding Front Suspension/Front Caster, which AAA said it is Ok and there is No Problem.
Even after Approx. 3 Months from the 4th Paid Service, have observed the Following problems:
1. Low Mileage of 10 Km/Liter Max.
2. Handle Lock get Jammed oftenly for the Rear Side
3. Front Suspension
4. Rear Side Gate Noise
5. Front Bearing Noise
6. Tyre got cut Crack
7. Fog lamp Got Moisture- As there is no Sign of Crack on it.
8. Front Room Lamp Switch is shaky
9. Power Window Switch Malfunction or May a Motor Problem Not Aware
10. Clutch Hard
Even after that problem continues as during the Wheel Alignment,one of Renowned Alignment Agency Called Haryana Wheels, Faridabad Refused to do alignment and informed for the “bend in Left Chimta”. When I Spoke to Agency at AAA, they said it is not covered under warranty and you have to pay for it. When I told this complaint I made it on 4th paid service then why it has not been corrected at that time. Then there is no answer for it.
With the Latest PROBLEM IS WHEN I DRIVE MY VEHICLE AND AFTER THAT WHEN I CLOSE MY DOOR IT GIVES A SHOCK. THIS IS NOT ONLY HAPPEN TO ME BUT HAPPEN TO MY OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS ALSO. on asking from Agency that they said this is because of your + Blood Group. which is not digested as when i drive my friend wagon-r i have never faced that type of problem.still i send my car for checking earthing and i got reply along my car that earthing is OK and please Put extra cushion on your seat. i folloed their suggestion but no positive results.
THIS PROBLEM IS STILL CONTINUE AND I AM NOT GETTING ANY RECTIFICATION. EVEN SOMETIMES I FEEL SOME BURNING SMELL IN MAY CAR. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF SOME MISHAP HAPPEN WHO WILL BE RESPONSIBLE.
Sir can you let me know that the Vehicle which had given so many problem despite of serving it well, is suppose to keep by an Owner.
Even you can check the details of All Service done by the agencies about my above stated facts.
Now because of the Frustration, I am writing this Mail to you
Please Help me in Getting My vehicle Repaired perfectly.

Wagon-R VXI — Unsatisfactory maintenance process
I have a Wagon R Vxi only run 1500 kms, at a hospital parking over night, found front bumper and grill damaged and approached Maruti Service Masters, G T Karnal Road, opp Jahangirpuri, on 27.07.09 for rectification (under Insurance policy) and with expectations of my car back to show room condition.Due to the impact, cracks were found on the grills, bumper and not visible panel component of head lights. The person deputed kept me informed on mobile of the process being adopted. I insisted of no repairs of broken parts but for replacement with new parts.
As claimed on my inspection visit 29.07.09, the old materials were already destroyed by the surveyor and not shown, as head light units were not damaged but as claimed due to cracks on plastic part connecting the 02 head lights the whole head-light unit needs to replaced is not believable . Nexsus of insurance agent and Service station staff in disposing off good parts from unsuspecting customers is suspected . The parts being used is doubtful, needs authenification of Maruti genuine parts.
On 03.07.09, delivery time 1700 hrs given. I reached on time given, but found on delivery, the grills with crome plating rusty and paint administered of very substandard quality, upon being protested, the staff stated the crome part is the original from my damaged grills, and the paint may have developed stain due to bird-droppings, also even brought the old grill to convince me. Eventually showing that old parts already destroyed statement wrong. I asked when all the parts are being replaced new why this old part as claimed from my old grill is being used. Litteraly the vehicle was taken back inside and cover operation began lasting 2 and half hours wasting my time and energy.
There was display board of Maruti, stringent servcing checks process etc before delivery, which is futile in my case. No regrets or reasonable explanation given from any responsible official.
This experience given at your service centre has lot to be desired .
