I totally agree to the complaint posted by Ashu. We at Dombivli (E) are also facing the same issue since last 1-2 months. There is some kind of pungent smell to the milk, when we checked with the vendor, he said that this is a complaint from almost 70% customers. The issue still persists and are not sure whether any action has been taken by the respective dept. from Warna milk.

Receiving warana cow milk of 500ml at Rs. 11.50 each milk these days of next coming date. i.e today as on 11th July 2009 received milk dated 12th July 2009. This date is embossed on the packet. We are noticing the same from last 3-4 days. Address detail as mentioned on the packet is

yes this is major problem about warana milk. iam suffring the same problem last six month's. i ressident at nerul, navi mumbai.
Even we are suffring the same major PROBLEM frome 15 july 2009. getting ROTTEN SMELL LIKE GUTTER WATER after BOILING single milk or with tea.resident at CBD BELAPUR.

I also faced the same problem, On 20th july 2009 around 3pm I bought two half litres packet of warna milk in Dombivili east from my regular shopkeeper.When we opened the packet to heat it, it had a very foul smell, seems adulterated or old or something mixed with chemical like what happened inchina.And much more surprising there was no expiry date or date of manufacture on it .I request the food control establishment/ the polic department / or the responsible govt department to take immediate action and come out with the details for the foul smell and if somebody played mischief they should be immediately arrested.But iam afraid this is India man, nothing is going to happen, only in china it can happen the company was closed down and the responsible people were given death penalty.

I stay at Dadar(West). There is our milk deliverer for the last twelve years-Siddhi Milk Centre run by Mr. Ankush Shinde, near our area who has been delivering Warna milk to us for the last couple of months. We asked him to deliver Warna every day 3 bags of 1/2 litres each. In the earlier four months the Gokul milk that we were buying from him started giving less and lesser butter day by day and Mr. Shinde also verbally admitted that he had received this complaint about Gokul milk from ten more customers like me. Mr. Shinde also told us to give our complaint in writing so that he can give the complaint letter to the company office in Mumbai. At that time we decided to try Warna milk.
But from last week consistently every day, the Warna milk has been smelling badly. It is hard to drink that milk even with cofee or cocoa or tea. Even the buttermilk from it has that bad smell. Last two days i have avoided drinking that milk or any products made from that.
I have been watching on TV about this dirty milk racket who inject syringe in the bags and take out the milk and tamper with the bag. I asked my neighbour who buys the Warna milk from another vendor and he said that he also has the same complaint about the smell. Two people in my family have been having stomach upsets from the last 5-6 days- i doubt if this is by drinking the foul smelling Warna milk. After paying 30 Rs of our hard earned money to buy a litre of milk, we dont expect to get a milk that smells so badly or a milk that day by day gives lesser and lesser butter- actually these milk companies must be made to give us at least 30 Rs per sip of such a milk that we have drank so far or every gram of butter denied to us. No doubt these milk companies have chosen to keep quite.- Are they taking 30 Rs per litre to make us healthy or to poison our stomachs ? The owners of these milk companies will never be able to digest the money obtained by doing such foul smelling things.
