[Resolved]  Western Railway Pay And Park - Goregaon - East Station Mumbai — Unauthorized parking charges

The parking contractor which is provding parking services at Goregaon(E) station is charging Rs 20 daily for 2 wheeler which is unauthorized. The contractor is exploiting the daily parkers who are often short pressed on time since they have travel long distances to offices at locations like Churchgate, Mumbai Central,Dadar. Even there is not much discount on monthly passes i.e Rs 500. Since weekends are holidays , there are effective 22 days in a month. So why how can the contractor charge such high amount. Nowdays everyone is talking of inflation touching double digits, this is a perfect example of super-inflation. A few days back he was charging Rs 250 per month.Concerned authorities please save common man from this OPEN EXPLOITATION and black mailing.

I AM FROM MALAD EAST AN TRAVEL BY RAILWAYDAILY ipark my two wheller at malad east parking stand THE RATES OF PARKING STAND STARTED FROM RS 100 AND WITHIN A YEAR REACHED RS400 SO PLZ LOOK AFTER THE DADAGIRI STARTED BY THE PARKING CONCRACTOR AND DO THE NEEDFUL TO THE COMMON PEOPLE

please give written complaint to station master office in complaint book also give the zerox copy of receipt which was charged more than Railways authorized charges. Also give complaint at below given link

That's correct. Humiliation continues. Latest being today when I was asked to pay Rs 20 for the same when on the receipt it is written Rs 10. When I denied, he was furious and asked me to remove my bike. I request the authorities to look into this.
Is someone listening to the common man ???

this is ridiculous. its true they charge Rs.20 for 12 hours in Goregaon East Station as well. The Parking Contractor is M/S S.B.Traders. the slip they give has Rs.10 written which they scratch off and charge Rs.20. when asked they say new reciept books will have the correct charge. however there is no such thing - its been 3 months now and they keep charging Rs.20 where receipt is for Rs.10 scratched off. they're pocketing the excess charges everyday and if anyone asks they behave rudely. the complaint books and station master also are of no use. this is absolute nonsense. common man suffers at the hands of crooks in daylight. check out the receipt...am attaching a proof...
