On the website, there is an FAQ on Account Opening>If I have forgotten my password, what should I do?> The procedure they have mentioned is
You need to send an email/regular mail request to our Customer Care department to reset your password following which a new password will be sent to you.

When i spoke to customer care they say that there would be a charge of Rs.25+service tax. No where on the website they have mentioned about the charges. This is the information given by the customer care official.
Please check the same as the end consumer may be effected because of the hidden charges

and trading account no. is 31494930 in HDFC
securities Ltd. I have forgotten my password so kindly send me my new password
as soon as possible.
Now they are not charging for regeneration of password and you can generate your trading password through online i.e through website from trade now optiion in that there is an option to generate password online instantly click here - link is available
My client ID is 26768070. Since last 6 months HDFC Sec has stopped issue of confirmation / Contract note for the transaction carried out. I am completely kept under dark about the brokerage and other charges debited to my account. Gross amount is debited to my account whenever I buy sell shares without. furnishing the details, This is gross negligence on the part of HDFC sec. Give up your least care approach for for small customers. I used to receive SMS to mobile phone for every transaction carried out by me. Even this facility has been curtailed. Will you please let me know why have taken these steps. It has caused me great inconvenience, Will you please restore these facilities immediately without pushing the customer to a corner. If your intention is to drive out the small customers do it openly but not in this hidden way.

There is other option available in the website to generate password for Trading account and Netbanking account by using ATM / Debit card.
Hi...Mr.Rao i receive all my contract notes regularly on email..we can also download the contract notes through online trading portal from the option " History" . They have a standard brokerage structure of 0.5% on delivery or min Rs.25 and 0.05% on intraday min Rs.25 on every trade. i suggest you to speak to their customercare desk on[protected] or write to thm on [protected]@hdfcsec.com for assistance.

you shud speak to their customer service agents in Dubai to
know what I mean !

Please DO NOT provide your private information like Client ID, Account Number on a PUBLIC WEBSITE. It can be misused by unscrupulous people!
