STEP TO STEP — NO REFUND OR REPLACEMENT
Respected Sir / Madam,I Sachin Patel and my uncle(Amrut) had purchased a sandals for my uncle (Amrut).On dated 26/06/2011 from STEP to STEP ,Shop no10,goyal shopping center ,L.T. road,Borivali west,Mumbai-92.Tel[protected].Bill no:3674 and replacement receipt no:786
The shopkeeper gave warranty for 90days ,Even on bill its written warranty for 90 days.but with in 40 days that sandal got broken.its sole got tone even it belts got wear out .on7/08/2011.he refused to replaced.he told it will be repaired.After 15 days when we went to take repaired sandals the total of the sandals were changed and were not repaired as per our satisfactory.we told for refund of money as the sandals were not used for a month also.but he refused.so we asked for new one adjusting the price with 10% deduction,then also he refused,as our money was blocked. we told to give him 80% refund and 20% deduction yet he refused.then he directly came down for 50% deduction.and straight away told: 50% WANT THEN TAKE OR CHALTE BANO(GO AWAY)".SO we left from there.after 10 days we again went there for the same.NOW he refused for even 50% also.
Yet we didn't got either sandals nor our money till date.
So we will be grateful if you consider this matter.

Our customer care team has informed you for the sold out of the hotel on 04th May and has also offered you a alternate property. After your acceptance for the refund, we have processed the full refund of INR 24114 on 06th May under booking reference no# YT 11072509. The bank also takes 7-10 working days to credit the amount in your account. We hope you have received the same.

after ten days of taking full advance payment and issuing confirmation hotel voucher, food voucher you are saying hotel is sold out .
but i checked yatra.com the very next day.. it was showing rooms available but price was doubled..
i paid 25000 and the next day of my cancellation same package were available for rs 50, 000.
i[censored] get higher amt then you will cancel your old bookings ( and that too with 100% advance payment ) .. it is fair.. ?
and you are saying i accepted refund ... !
then please tell me what other option i had.. should i accept that low ranked resort offered by you in return for the money made by me for trip advisor no 1 ranked resort atali.. ?
even in accepting refund from you i suffered monetary loss ( holiday of my business staff and taxi/train cancellation )
and mental stress (as said by mr sanjeev in above post - remarks from my wife, children and other family members.. )
even today resort is available and that too at yatra.com

After my strong recommendation, one of my friends booked his honeymoon trip to UK and Europe from Yatra.com. Its executive Vishvnath and Puneet remained in constant touch until they got booking amount in first week of January 2015 and then they went in obscure. After my repeated requests that you need to proceed for their UK visa process earlier because the couple need to plan to come to New Delhi from Kanpur. They deliberately delayed visa process and asked same documents again and again. Some time they did not ask it on time and some time they asked at a time when there was no hope to get visa at all.
Even they withheld information of visa denial from Uk and asked us to deposit the next installment. Soon after we deposited amount, they informed that visa is denied. So what is next? They told many stories. We went to their office talked on many options and they did not reply on any of options we talked.
Before 10-15 days of expected departure they told that they are going to apply for Shengen visa and you need to submit all documents again. We hurriedly collected all documents and sent it by Blue dart courier again.
Then they kept asking next deposit before they apply. We got a clear sense that even if there was no time left for visa process, why they are asking to deposit the money. They were playing with us a dirty game. But we reminded them what we had talked in person when we had met.
Finally as of today, departure date is over and my friend is with no visa, no ticket and all money gone.
Now we dont have any option other than going to consumer court.

Please find the below events.1. I requested indiahotelreview.com (lakshmi) to book me a room @ rameshwaram in maharaja hotel for 31st July to 1st Aug.
2. She confirmed the same and asked me to login into the url and do the payment.
3. Then she send me a copy of hotel voucher to me
4. Me and my family went to the hotel (rameshwaram) and found no reservation for 31st July to 1st Aug.
5. Hotel guys said he did not receive any payment or confirmation from you.
6. Then only i looked on the voucher and found the date was mentioned as 31st Aug to 1st Sept.
7. I pleaded with hotel guy and got accomodation for few hours and i paid him the rent.
8. I left to US for a short vist and after i came back i requested for cancellation on 27th Aug.
I had series of emails chains till jan 2009. Later no response.
