I was staying at YWCA at Colaba (near Regal Cinema) in February 2011. On 19th February, I wanted biscuits with tea. They sent me a new sealed packet of Britannia Good Day biscuits. The packet was unpened and given to me (the biscuits were not "served", i.e., not opened and served on a plate etc. The MRP was Rs. 13 (inclusive of taxes) but the YWCA charged me Rs. 24.00. They even gave me a printed bill of Rs. 24, which I paid in cash.
Since no service addition was done to the branded product, rather it was merely procured by the YWCA, only the printed cost should have been charged. Was this information helpful? |
