Zeenext Broadband — ZeeNext is the worst of 'em all

I am using ZeeNext for the past few months and nothing, I mean absolutely nothing has made me think that it is a good connection. First of all it is through LAN, the worst ever possible braodband connection. Then you have cable operators running it in your areas and are even worst.

A month ago I didn’t get access for 2 weeks, whenever I tried to access the internet it didn’t turn on.. after repeated calls to ZeeNext and the operator he came and then fixed it. Then the same would happen after few hrs or the next day. This went on 4 bout 2 weeks. Now when I have a 3 months unlimited connection on which I was told to be havin a minimum of 32 kbps they now say its a min 16 kbps shared connection I don’t know how many ppl are on the same connection.

These people are just ripping the customers off there money. So if you guys want to take ZeeNext I suggest u think twice or maybe thrice before taking it. And I paid good amount of money for 16 kbps I mean I can get faster speeds on a dial up modem. And one more thing there system has snag problem I mean sometimes when you try to connect and put right user name and password it says incorrect user name and password many times. So everytime you have to call up the customer care and get it working, this is the most irritating part.

ZeeNext broadband — Zeenext Broadband a nightmare

I’m from Thavarkere, Bangalore.
My nightmare began when I applied for ZeeNext connection. In no time one guy popped up and took the money after registration. It’s almost a month now, and almost everyday I spend 10-20 Rs. calling them. But even the cable-laying guy don’t show up, let alone get the login ID..
If not for that money paid, I would spit on their face…
It’s such a mental torture.. affecting even our everyday life..

Hello Friends,

ZeeNext is now WWIL (Wire and Wireless India Limited)

One fine day I was looking at the Cable TV guide and I saw an advt. saying Forget the hasseles of Dialup, Join ZeeNext and I was delighted to know the offers. So I called up the the cable tv operator i.e. Kalgidhar Vedio, Nagavarpalya main Road, C V Raman Nagar, Bangalore. Mr. Akbar is the person who is incharge of this cable tv network. I spoked with this person and he was too polite at that time and he presented his self to be a very esponsible person.

I was imperessed by the 24 Hr connectivity option at a better price as compared to dial up. I spend Rs. 1500 for installation and took a Shared unlimited package for a month. After just 7 days I started experiencing lot of problems. Everytime I switched on my computer I noticed that my internet is not working. I called up ZeeNext customer care and they always told me that they will forward my complaint to the technical team and they will contact me shortly. and the problem will be soon rectified. (The Customer care department can only speak English or Kannada. and they don’t know hindi though its a hindi nation. ) The technical team used to turn up in a day or two or they just used to forward the complaints to the cable tv operator. The operator knew that he is important as an customer for ZeeNext and never used to worry about the problems his customers were facing. and the whole process generally took 5-6 days.

I always used to think that dial up is better than ZeeNext because Dialup I can use according to my need and ZeeNext I can only use when my cable tv operator lets me use it. and moreover I always have to call him up so its generally equivalent to a dialup

Then came a more powerfull feature from ZeeNext ...The broadband client which was badly designed with lots of flaws in it. First of all the passwords and the usernames are not sent securely. Anyone using a sniffer can easily grab all the userid;s and passwords from the network.

Secondly I confirgured my download manager to automatically shut down my pc after download completes, but this broadband client never lets the download manager to shut down the pc as a result even if the downloads are complete my pc keeps on running idle. Thirdly The broadband client will disconnect you after 10-15 minutes of inactivity so no point in waiting for your friends to come online.

I talked with a lot of persons from ZeeNext which include Mrs. Savitha R, Customer/technical care head Bangalore, and other technical people in Bangalore and lots more but no benefit. Actually what I feel is that ZeeNext in no longer worried about customers and also ZeeNext has no control over the cable t.v. operator. They don’t even look at the efficiency and the profile of the Cable operator.

Friends the story is too long but in nutshell I would like to say that if you want to opt for ZeeNext then be ready to remember the ZeeNext customer care numbers, Cable operator no. plus a habbit of fighting with people for your rights.ZeeNext is not responsible for any problems that you might face with the ZeeNext ’’broadbund’’ connection

I have currently ZeeNext 256 kbps but major problem is that at night i don't get access. After 9:30 i can hardly access net and still cant access net till about 9:30 in morning. If you do the network daignostic utility you can see errors like

Host not reacheable...
DNS status not working...
Gateway not reachable...
etc.

I dont know why ZeeNext avoids me providing access through their server at nights to internet. why they give me out head sucking network problems

How if yr line is 256kbps & u struggle to even get 10kBps download, , not at night, at anytime of the day! Infact nights
are worse.. downloads gets killed due to cut-outs.

Practically 256kbps = 32kBps.
Have been getting an average speed of 30kBps for years, but now, such is the state, even 8-10kBps is difficult to touch.

This shows simply how the servers are being HAMMERED hard, n the possible reasons are too much traffic, non-expansion acc to needs & increase in capacity, very less preffered dns s & mainly negligence of maintenance.

(P.S. kbps = kilo bits per second, , , kBps = kilo bytes per second
1kBps = 8kbps.. as also stated by m8s smoothvibes & BradEuk)

ZeeNext broadband service is the worst broadband one can ever imagine. I took a 2 month 2 GB free connection, it was prepaid. I dont get any network even 10% of the day. Since last 15 days I've been calling the helpdesk people at least thrice a day, everyday they utter the same thing - it will be fixed within next 12 hours. These 12 hours are never coming.

I'VE PAID MONEY AND I'M NOT GETTING ANY NETWORK. Forget about the speed.

Even the manager was so scoundrel that when I sent an email to him describing the situation, he promised that he'll fix this within one day. He never did that. If I would have enough time, I would sue them under consumer protection act. I've removed my network and going for Airtel from the next month.

Friends, just avoid ZeeNext Broadband Connection.

I am a ZeeNext customer for the last two years in Bangalore. The staff or managers in Bangalore doesnt know what is CUSTOMER. They treat customers as fools.

Without informing the customer they disconnect the cable saying that ur limit is over. Once u call them it takes minimum 10 to 15 minutes for somebody to attend the call. I have made the payment yesterday evening and they confirmed me that my account will be activated within 1 hour. Nothing happened. i called u 10 times, no response. Today morning also i called up. they confirmed that it will be activated before 10 am. Nothing happened till 12 noon. I asked the person who collected the money to reimbuse me and i dont want ZeeNext connection. NO RESPONSE.

This is not the first time. This happend almost more than 5 times. What ZeeNext people think of themselves. Customers r fools. I[censored] continue like this, thats all. the end of ZeeNext is very near...
