One of my friends wants to sell Coreldraw from Gem. I in favor of him I did an Inquiry to Corel Authorised seller. But after some days my friend didn't get a PO from the end buyer. So Corel Seller constantly calls me for asking PO. When I refused him to buy the second day I got an email and call from the Corel Compliance team from domain name core India.co.in, asking me about PO and They send 2 men from Corel seller to my address without even my concern. And doing harassment and threatening me for audit. And asking me for he declared that I'm not using Corel and Corel team can audit any time they want on company letterhead. I'm damn sure that Corel authorized reseller gave my information to the compliance team when I refused to buy. And They want to give some pressure so I buy it. So in nutshell, this legal scam is running jointly by Corel Authorized reseller and Compliance Team. When I tried to contact corel.com they just gave an email to an Indian agent that agent itself declared that core India.co.in is part of corel.com

This is the same story. I inquired about the prices from one of the resellers listed on the corelindia.co.in.

The reseller ([protected]) was under pressure to get the deal done from Mumbai (Virendra Desai - [protected]).

I canceled the deal as they kept on messaging and calling. I got irritated and told them I won't purchase and will shift to another. After a few days, I get a call from Anita Didi from the Compliance Team saying that I am using illegal copies of CorelDraw on 6 instances and those needs to be regularized.

I am not using any of their CorelDraw then why will I pay for 6 instances? This is some kind of extortion. Their Resellers and internal employees might be tricking to get the money from small businesses.

Do not panic if you have not used their Coreldraw software or not using it but you are getting calls and emails.

Corel India is not registered with Ministry of Corporate Affairs(India) and no Corel india in GST database. When you ask for the address, they say don't have physical address as such. Why they hide their address? Are they working on secret mission at Area 51 or an agent of RAW?
Reputed software companies like Microsoft, Intuit compliance office is in India with Physical address but CorelIndia doesn't have.

Just forward the email to CEO of Corel at christa[dot]quarles[at]corel.com and inform how this CorelIndia Scam!
