First issue:
In 2017, i received a mail from the branch to submit a form to change my roi to mclr. I received this mail on march 21, 2017. At that time i was not in the country and hence i sent a scanned copy of the form. The mail was sent on march 27, 2017 by me.in march 2018, i received a call from the branch saying that i havent submitted the form. This means for one year i have been paying a higher interest rate for a mistake done by the branch staff of not checking their mails. This was totally unfair and i raised a complaint in the corpbank forum (Ticket number [protected]). They closed the case saying that the interest rate has been changed to mclr. The complaint was that the interest paid in excess to be settled. I raised another complaint and that was never answered. Please, this is a clear case of fraud.
Second issue
Couple of days back, i wanted to check on my loan statement and i realized that from the last four months, the loan has not been paid at all. This is because my si from another bank to transfer funds had expired. Can you imagine that my loan was in overdue while i actually had sufficient funds to pay for it? The cause for this is there was no single reminder to tell me that my loan payment has failed for several attempts. If i had not checked, this would have continued forever and i would not have known. This is pathetic service from the bank. Fortunately i could see this and make the necessary payments. I am not sure how many customers like me would also be facing such issues. One mail will solve all the problems.
