I had purchased loose maida from dmart on 21st october 2019, monday evening. But the maida is not at all of any quality. It is the worst experience. I had purchased 1.914 kg maida, while preparing the dough it does not takes the grip as normal maida. Some home i tried to prepare chakli out of it, but as i put the raw chakli in the frying the entire chakli broke and became powder in the pan. Maida is lnow to have grip and elasticity which is not there is the maida which i purchased from d mart. Even after that i tried to make puri out of it and put it in the pan, but the puri also started to break down into pieces. Then i came to conclusion that the maida is not at all of any quality but has a mixture of rice flour into it as it is not at all qripping and not even elastic, but breaking into small granules. I simply want to urge to stoo the selling of adulterated products in d mart as it is a very well established entity and lot of consumers trust the brand, but such kind of downgraded and adulterated products will tarnish the brand and it is merely cheating with the consumers to sell rice flour in name of maida. I feel to be cheated as my entire hardwork in preparation of chakli with adulterated maida, my time, energy, efforts. Plus mental disturbance because of getting adulterated product at this time of diwali festival. It should stop immediately.
