This is to inform you that we have purchased Dalda Vanaspati from M/s. Shiva Stores, 24, Ekbalpore Lane, Kolkata - 700023. That on the eve of Muharram we prepared "Khichra" of 5 kg Basmati Rice, for distribution among poor and relatives. But due to the poisonous smell nobody can eat. We somehow ate the same as we have made it. Thereafter my family members are suffering from stomach trouble. On 25th November, 2013 in the early morning my wife was rushed to Ekbalpore Nursing Home in a very precarious condition with stomach trouble and bleeding with stool. After investigation it is found that she has developed infection on her stomach due to intake of poisonous dalda. On 30th November, 2013 she was released on request with several restriction and under medication. A report of biopsy is pending. On complaint in the toll free number they have send on Pintu Da to receive the sample of Dalda alongwith the packet bearing batch no. etc. etc. on 3rd November, 2013 after a gap of 15 days. My greivance is when the company will compensate and bear the expenses. I have the packet of Dalda with us and sample of Dalda. Please suggest the remedy. My contact address is C/o. Md.
