Delhi Development Authority [DDA] — Complaint about Illegal and unauthorised construction

Dear Sir / Maa;m,

I wish to bring to your notice that illegal and unauthorised construction is going on in DDA flat no: C1A / 78C, Janak Puri, New Delhi - 110058 for the past several weeks causing us great discomfort, mental torture, inconvenience, noise pollution. Rori, reta and badarpur is lying about on the staircase which is entering our house which is right opposite to theirs.

Today we cleaned our entire house and a small bagful of of reta and badarpur came out.

The construction is going on on both second floor and roof top.

They have also blocked all our view of the block on the left hand side of our balcony. Due to their house expansion we are now totally cut off from our block.

But today when we told them that reta and badarpur lying on the staircase shud be cleaned up, the lady of the house started shouting and arguing.

As I did not want to engage with a lady I kept quiet and came inside my
house.

We have been cooperating with them in the past when they used our terrace to pull sariya upto second floor when they were doing construction on rooftop. We have also allowed them to use our terrace during the engagement of their daughter for cooking purpose.

Sometimes they also use our terrace in winters to sunbathe their new born grand child.

I have a mother who is 88 years old and is very very hyper and anxious.

My full time is going towards looking after her and I don't have time for
such petty matters.

But when things got out of hand I have no choice but to lodge this complaint.

Kindly look into this matter as this kind of behaviour is not acceptable at all from an immediate neighbour.

Looking for ward to your earlier action on this.
