Address: House No. 137, Konark Apartments, Kalkaji Extension, New Delhi |
I am a senior citizen with many health issues, residing alone in one of the South Delhi DDA-Flats residential colonies. I have a groundfloor occupancy. My first and second floor neighbors want to extend their balconies around the house, against my wishes. Their extension plans will deprive me of sunlight and air circulation to my residence. Besides, I have no requirement of an additional toilet, which these neighbors are forcing me to construct in my residence's back courtyard. I have politely explained to them my point and not given my consent for any additional construction / extension. However, now they are now using tactics to get my consent, by sending RWA members, to convince us. It is becoming a nuisance for me, as the said people are disturbing me often, especially during my resting hours, by coming to my house and wanting to enter it without my permission. I wish to know, [1] can they construct / extend their balcony without my consent / permission?, [2] whom can I complain to in the DDA department or local authorities?, [3] and also whether the extension of balcony by these people, will be allowed by the DDA, if my consent/ permission is not taken? Please respond. Was this information helpful? |
