. I have applied for hig flat under dda aawasiya yojana 2017 scheme - application no 2004511 and was allotted flat no 801 in g2c tower of dwarka sec 18 golf link residency society in draw held on nov 30, 2017 by dda.
Demand cum allotment letter issued by dda (Demand letter no 125278) quotes price of flat - g2c/801 as inr 11760199 which is higher than higher range of tentative cost (61.08 lakh to 109.22 lakhs) mentioned in application brochure by inr 8, 38, 199.
Construction of allotted flat was completed by year 2011-12 well before same were selected for awasiya yojana 2017 by dda and other details like area of flats/cost of construction were available and assume same were given due consideration before quoting tentative price for flat in application brochure for awasiya yojana 2017. Another factor which need to be considered is cost quoted by dda for flats in same locality in 2014 was around inr 70 lakhs. Considering depreciation of property in last 4-5 years and no escalation in land price/cost of construction for property dda should have issued demand letter of less than 70 lakh but it is exactly reverse and reverse by huge margin.
Cost of flat quoted by dda is even higher than running market price of allotted flat and this does not seem to be in sync with dda mission of providing housing at affordable price to people of delhi and our honorable prime minister dream of housing for all by 2022. Flat price quoted by dda by no means is affordable by normal salaried person.
I will request you to pay attention towards discrepancy in costing of flats allotted to people of delhi and take corrective measures by issuing fresh demand letters having reasonable price for allotted flats to keep interest and trust of people of delhi in future dda housing schemes.
