I have just landed in indore, and i booked a auto rikshaw from an app called jugnoo. The driver told me i have to pay a parking charge of 15 rupees even if he is just picking me up from the airport. He got a parking receipt, which said free parking till 7 minutes. After he picked me up and we were leaving the airport, the people who work to collect parking charge stopped as and demanded 15 rupees from the auto driver. I gave him the parking receipt and told him there is no need of parking charge as the driver had no exceeded 7 min. Then they said it does not matter, it's a rule and the rikshaw had to pay. I went with an argument with them and told them that show me the board with show "rupees fifteen parking charges for auto rikshaws", and then he said it's not written and it's my rule. They were misusing their power were demanding money from poor auto rickshaws people who cannot fight back as they have to work around the airport to pick up customers. I request you to please take this issue very seriously as this is one of the biggest forms of corruption in india.
