I recently found out that DISH extended my contract without my knowing about it. I called to cancel my service and was notified at that time that I owed $150.00 because I was cancelling my service early on a two year contract. I called the first time and the technician I talked to said my contract was up in February 2024. He offered to pause my account and DISH would bill me at $5.00 a month. When I called today the lady informed me that I still had 15 months left on my contract. Sneaky BS. Beware when you call about your service, you may enter into a new contract, without your knowing it. Piss poor customer service in my book. DISH should just be happy I'm returning their equipment and let me go.
