Most respectfully and humbly, I am carrying my business as a Fish merchant under the name and style of M/S Kalim & Brothers with trade mark (KB) at HIT Fish market, Howrah stall number – 8, since last 35 years approx.
That HIT authority has been failed and neglected to collect the monthly rent of my occupied stall since 1996 due to which they made an illegal demand for the payment of inflated and exorbitant amount towards the license fees instead of existing fees of ₹325/ to ₹1300/ without any basis and sufficient reasons.
That findings no other alternative way, I and other fish traders have filed a writ petition under article 226 constitution of India before the Hon’ble High Court at Calcutta and the said care is still pending in the court of law, Calcutta.
Moreover the HIT has shifted 27 out of 38 licencees went for settlement and fulfilled their illegal demand, where I was not at all in favour of the sin and we 9 out of 11 went to knock the door of the court of law for justice. The majority who went for settlement got the space in the new market on the basis of pick and choose according to their sweet will and whims policy.
That I came to know by some reliable source that all the projects of Howrah Fish Market have been handed over to KMDA and now the competent authority of KMDA entitled to collect rent from the owner of the fish stalls.
That due to this fact I am suffering an irreparable loss and damage to my current business.
Now the status is as such that my stall has been demolished by the Howrah LA department under the in charge of Mr. Dipen Sarkar without any investigation and understanding of the case as we were also in case details WP 10279(W) of 2009 and WP 14789(W) of 2009 on discussion with the authority they turned to deaf ears. I have a doubt that the case has been botched between HIT and KMDA against us.

ADM took interest in the begining but just kept on hitting the bush and end up on result. my whole family is disturbed by the decision and the space provided was not business worthy...please help
