On 1st Jan 2024, I was shopping at D-Mart Vansthalipuram and my bill was Rs 1199.50 (counter with less than 10 items) and i tried to pay that bill via PayTm UPI app but at the same time transaction went under processing mode and was not completed but amount was deducted from my account. I waited in the queue for 3 minutes. D-Mart guy said UPI timeout happended and he created another UPI QR code and asked me to pay. I scanned and paid again using my PayTM. The second time also transaction went under processing mode. Then D-Mart guy says it will be reverted in your account after some time and make another payment. Then I swipe my debit card and paid my bill Rs 1199.50. But after 15 minutes, Two PayTm UPI transaction which was under processing got succeed and there was 3 payments done from my side for one bill. All this happened as there was a big queue at the cash counter (counter with less than 10 items) on 1st Jan 2024 and a lot of people are waiting to complete their purchases at the cash counter. I request DMART customer care to look into the issue and resolve it. Thank You
