Hi, I have become a victim of one of the fraud real estate agent in Navi Mumbai (Kharghar), Dreams Real Estate (Property Consultant). I came to know about this agent (Bhavna Patil) through 99acres.com. She introduced me to the flat owner. When deal got finalized and I paid the advance amount. She chased me day in and day out to give 20% down payment amount since flat owner is relocating to another city. This information was never given by the agent before paying advance. I paid the 20% amount considering the urgency. Now, it is 45 days since I paid 20% amount, there is no clue when registration would be done. The flat owner is absconding and is not receiving any calls from me. I repeatedly followed up with Bhavna Patil but she always says, she is not aware where the owner is. I realized now that I have become victim of this fraud agent-owner nexus. My sincere advice to those who are looking for properties in Kharghar, please check agent background before you go for deal. Please do not approach this agent Bhavna Patil as she is a fraud.
