Dear Sir,
I want to inform you with great disappointment that the recent electricity bill received with a surprise high amount 30419 Rs. Before raising RTI we sought clarification from Fatuha Electricity Office where my brother(Nitish Kumar ) visited personally but no one clarified our doubt, every one responded with least care that i don't know how the consumer id has been changed and how the meter reading is so high and how to fix it, no one assured us that from now onwards, the consumer id will not be changed. Now we are really in dark and we don't know whom to reach out to clarify, how the consumer id for the same electric meter has been changed 3 times without sending any notification to the consumer. We are really afraid of facing any legal action for not paying the electricity bill on time. But how can we pay such a high bill while we were paying the bill regularly with consumer id 1807383. All of sudden we received an electricity bill of 30419 rs with consumer id[protected] for simple household uses. We asked them to show any previous bill which shows any amount near to 30419 Rs but they did not.
With such irregularities in electricity office, we being common man are being harassed running to the electricity offices without any proper response.
I am raising this RTI with firm believe that i will get my issue resolved. Please clarify me what is correct bill amount of meter number 11623882 consider all three consumer ids 1807383, 1807368 and[protected]. We were paying our bill online regularly with consumer code 1807383 till 20/05/2016. After that i was not able to pay the bill as the website/app was showing consumer code 1807383 is not valid. So i request you to correct my electricity bill adjusting any late fine as we were not responsible for not paying the bill, we did not receive any bill till the last surprised high bill received of amount 30419 Rs with different consumer id[protected].
We have raise RTI also for this issue and the RTI application No is 784614.
