I have purchased two wheeler exide battery on 12.07.2015 from M/s.Kavitha Battery & Lubricants, No.26 Ashoknagar Main Road, Chennai-24 who is reported to be an authorized dealer for "EXIDE" Batteries. The Battery type I purchased was FXR0-12XR5L-B -Serial No.M2B5R822714 2D54 - When I enquired about the cost of this battery, I was informed Rs.1050/- after deduction of some amount towards old battery. I used the debit card for buying the product. To my surpise, the bill was given for Rs.1000/- but the amount debited to my bank account is Rs.1200/- thereby the dealer charged Rs.200/- more than the bill amount. When I sought clarification in this regard, I was given a vague reply. I feel that I am cheated by the above dealer. I have not noticed the figure on the print out given for signature immediately after swiping my debit card since my dealing with the above dealer is long standing. I also feel that the reputation of Exide company would damage if such type of mischief takes place. Exide company should pay immediate attention on such unfair practice by their dealer as aforesaid. Eventhough I am a longstanding customer of the above dealer for the last 15 years, I am not treated properly by the aforesaid dealer when I enquired about the above unfair practice. Finally I have returned the battery purchased from him and got back the cash.Had he decently convinced me for the mistake if any happened on his part, I would not have made this review.
