I'd left my Fiat Punto for general service on 05 Nov 2014 & took delivery on 06 Nov 2014. While taking the delivery, I've noticed that one of the headlights is completely scratched, foggy & the clamp is broken. Careful examination revealed that the headlight was swapped with a broken one.
In fact the other headlight is clean & clear.
I've immediately informed the service adviser Shiva Kumar, but he acted ignorant & tried to justify himself. I contacted the GM Channa Basappa, he said he will do an inquiry & come back to me. After repeated calls & visit to the service center daily till 10 Nov 2014, he said there is no way they could swap it coz their entire facility is fitted with surveillance cameras. He was also trying to justify himself. I'm sure he would never admit their cheating.
I've been a regular with Prerana motors since I got the vehicle in 2009 & now with Vecto Motors (a subsidiary of Prerana).
If they could swap an external part I'm sure they would've done the same with internal parts too; which a layman would never know until something goes wrong later. Was this information helpful? |
