My Husband and me went to to Ekayana Restaurant of Shangri La Hotel for lunch on 27th August 2013. We had asked for mineral water and we were served with 1000ml bottle of Himalaya water which had the MRP Rs 45 printed on it.
When we asked for the bill after our lunch, the amount charged for water was Rs 150. We asked the waiter who served us and the F&B Manager also, as one cannot charged more than the MRP of a product, but they said its company policy.
The bottle of water had MRP printed on it and it was not specially made/bottled for the hotel or restaurant.
Hence we raise a complaint against the restaurant and hotel for charging more that MRP of a product in the name of company policy.
