L.R. Foods Private Limited — Insect Baked in Bread

My name is Ravi Kumar Sharma, Managing Director, Bobia Consulting, C-3, Office No. 8, Pandav Nagar, Meerut (UP)-250001.

I purchased a bread, dated July 23, 2013. The pack was contaminated. Bread holds a tag that it is best before July 26, 2013. Insect seems baked in the bread. I was surprized about the company’s quality parameters and the National Award for quality that the company has received.

I forwarded an email to the company on July 24, 2013 asking for an explanation. They asked Mr. Agrawal (Company Distributor from Meerut) to make a visit to my office. He visited my office in the evening on July 26, 2013. Instead of accepting the incompetency of the quality department, he tried to convince me that the packet is repacked.

It's was quite obvious from the manner in which he was speaking that the company and it’s mandates definitely try to overlook the health of the consumers. I am sorry to say that the company is only concerned about making money and is playing with the health of the consumers.

I told them that I would take this issue further to higher authorities and they would judge now whether the package is repacked or it’s a manufacturing carelessness.

Please find attached the snaps of the contaminated bread. I do have the packed bread and the email communication that I had with the company since July 24, 2013. I can also furnish the video of the packet.
