I booked tickets online on fun cinemas on July 11th for a movie on July 13th. I got a confirmation email from Fun Cinemas saying my tickets have been booked. To my horror on reaching the booking counter on July 13th I was told by them that it was a WEB ERROR and my booking was not successful.

First of all, they did not inform this to me right after I did the booking and I only got a confirmation email from them and no cancellation or unsuccessful booking email. After speaking to the Manager Nitin Singh and waiting for almost one hour we were informed that money would be refunded in 7 days and we need to pay again and buy fresh tickets. This was a mentally agony but since we had come to see the movie we chose to see it, even though after all this drama I was pissed off with the cinema.

Today it is July 29th, still no sign of refund and when I sms the manager he doesn't bother to respond back. It is not the matter of Rs. 570 which is not refunded but the way it is being dealt with. I have always got cancellation emails if transactions are not successful but this unprofessional and unethical FUN CINEMAS chose to keep my money, make me pay again to see the movie and is not bothering now to refund my money. If you can't handle online transactions, please save movie goers mental pain of going through the same.

The cinema is the most disgusting cinema I've seen in my life and I want my money to be refunded with interest.

    Me along with my friends visited fun cinemas, V3S mall, lakshmi nagar, delhi at around 9:45 pm on 22/2/2012 and booked three tickets for 11:15 pm show of Ghost Rider for the same date through Mr Mohit who was present at the booking counter. we went on time for the movie and entered the hall. The movie started and after around half an hour a representative of fun cinemas came to us and asked for the tickets. After seeing the tickets he told us to leave the premises at once as our ticket is of 9:10 pm show and we have missed that particular show. When we went to the manager Mr. Panna Lal, he was very discourteous and used unpardonable language and told us that we must get out as it is a crime to be a part of the show for which we haven't bought the tickets. we tried to make him realise that after 9:45 pm why will we buy the tickets for the show which has already started a half an hour ago? and asked him to check and show our booking time. But all went in vain when he refused to show us our booking timing and threatened us to leave at once otherwise the security will throw us out.

    When Asked for a complaint book he simply refused for that and shouted " JO KARNA HAI KAR LO, JAHAAN JAANA HAI JAO".
    My question is if i have missed a particular show, why was i allowed to enter in another show?
    Does Fun Cinemas give their employees any rights to abuse their customers and humiliate them?
    If I'am buying a ticket for a show, is it not a duty of the person who is at the counter to announce my movie and show timing?

    I would like to lodge a complaint not against Fun Cinemas and their rules and regulations but against the staff who has been appointed as the representative and do not even know how to deal with customers.
    I regret to say that the experience I have had today with Fun Cinemas directly reflects their callous attitude towards customer satisfaction, and if at all The company cares about its reputation and good will, the staff specially Mr. Panna Lal and his team should be taken under scrutiny and appropriate action must be taken against them.

    hallo i am dr uzair go to see the movie housefull 2 at 12:25 show i request to give last row but she repaly to me seat are full but in show time i see few seat are left.on booking counter i say i am member of fun cinema and request to see the machine of voucher but she did not repaly and say go to 4 floor and talk to manager his behaviour is not good

    1. Despite of 3counters, only one counter is covered by ur staff fr sellin tickets.
    2. Ur staff hs developed new sickness of leavin d lights on while d movie is running...n yes, u dnt giv a damn abt ur customers.
    3. For reason best known to Satan only..u guys switch off d AC in middle of d movie..what is up wit dat!!???
    I took dese complaints to d manager bt even he cudnt say anythn other than stammerin..
    U better b ready fr competition

        Mine amount Rs.1410 is debited from fun cinemas where status is cancelled & also my bank statement showing its debit to fun cinemas.

        I had booked 5 Tickets for Jab Tak hai Jaan for the show on 19th November using www.funcinemas.com which cost me Rs 1234. The show never took place because of the demise of Late Balasaheb Thakerey . It has now been over 2 weeks and yet the refund has not been credited. I have complained twice to the Fun cinemas team over emails and once on call but still nothing has been done about it .
        My booking for Dabang[protected] ticktes) was not re inbursed though the show was cancelled


        on March 30, 2 unsuccessful attempts were made by me 2 book tickets for Himmatwala and both failed though money was deducted both times ( 154 deducted two times)

        But in both cases booking Id was not generated, Can any body guide me how i can lodge a complaint against fun cinemas in Consumer courts and get my due

          My name is sheetal chand. I have worked in an cinema industry for about 9.5 months and when i resigned from there i informed them and cleared all the formalities. when i went to there head office to ask for my provided fund after two moths. they gave me a form to fill and said to wait for three months. i did the same. but after that when i still did not recieve my P.F on the given time, i called them up , they again said to wait for a month, i also did that. After that one day i recieved a letter for the P.F office stating that i did not mention my name correctly. HOW CAN I FORGET MY NAME? WEIRD ANSWER FROM THE P.F OFFICE. PEOPLE KEE CHANGIN IT THE HEAD OFFICE OF FUN CINEMAS BUT I STILL DID NOT RECIEVE MY PF. can you please tell me that when will i recieve my PF

            Hi,
            I just want to aware East Delhi people about the Mosquito (Dengue) in Fun Cinema theater, Laxmi Nagar. There are lots of mosquito inside this theater. And the CWG village is also very near and no body looking after it. If there is any mosquito place found in our home (cooler) delhi gov will charge you fine. But what about these malls and theaters. Can't they do something to remove this mosquito? Any way people are paying for the Entertainment not for the Dengue. For East Delhi person be aware of going to Fun Cinema especially with child.
            I already complained to fun cinema and also given my feedback. No response so far.

              I had booked tickets for KItes for 22nd May ( Sat 4.30 PM show - 4 tickets Total amount Rs 1420). The booking was done on 20th May. The order ID is 1738584 and Booking ID is 1269765. SInce during that time, in Bangalore, There were protests against screening KItes movie in more than 21 theatres, the show was cancelled.

              I had gone to the theatre to confirm the same. The Fun Cinemas executive, orally confirmed that the money will be credited back within the next 7 days. But it has been one and a half month since then and no money has been credited.

              On asking them, the staff replied, that the show was no cancelled. I do not have any written confirmation / mail so that I can show the same to them.

              This is unacceptable behavior from Fun Cinemas. I have been a regular visitor to Func Cinemas till now. Hence forth I owe to never go to Fun CInemas. For a company which does not have ethics, I strongly recommed all of you to be careful of the same.

              I had booked 5 nos. tickets for Body Guard Film on 26.08.2011 ( Total amount Rs 875/-). The booking was not generated. The amount of Rs. 875/- deducted from my ICICI credit card no. [protected]

              I had gone to the Fun Cinmeas Bhopal to confirm the same. The Fun Cinemas executive, orally confirmed that, since the booking ID is not generated the money will be credited back within the next 7 days. But it has been one and a half month since then and no money has been credited.

              I enquired from ICICI bank. Bank Executives informed me that the amount is credited to fun cinemas account.

              Sir please help me to refund the amount of Rs. 875/- from fun cinemas, Bhopal.

                one executive of fun cinema sold me the coupon card for Rs.500/- but when i use them, the fun cinema staff disagree to accept the card and deny its validity, but its written on card that the card is valid for 6 months from the date of issue.
                the fun cinema causes lot of harassement which is the matter of great concern and must be resolved at quick pace so to avoid such fraudness by fun cinemas.

                I got a message some times ago. that i will get free movie ticket on purchase one movie ticket. when second day i went to fun cinema, they refused me abt it and said me that it's all fake message. and they cried at me,
                dear sir,
                i am very disappointed with this, plz improve this foul things, because it's not a matter for staff who is working there. it's a matter for your fun cinema.
                today we watched movie Khiladi, but movie stoped 5 times due to light problem, there is no power backup available in theater, every time when light had gone hall got in full blackout, there no arrangement of light for emergency, it could be very danger for watcher in any emergency,

                  i purachse 2 tickets on 17 feb for My name is khan. but the behaviour by the staff was very rude. they are talking iike illitrate persons. the way of talking of manager was so uncomfortable that i left taht palce without seen the movie. his way of talking like a thelewala.

                  act we made the ticket payment by credit card which was on the name of vinod and when we went to see the movie in cross river mall ..mr dhruv allhuwalia asst manager he was not at all coperating ..act we wer nt carrying the card we have told them to keeo security deposit instead of credit card..but he wasnot talking to us properly so can you pls take an action against this i want an aplologies...my name is ravikant arora and mb no [protected]

                    I live in Gurgaon and had booked Gift-A-Movie vouchers for my parents in Lucknow on Feb 09. They were supposed to be delivered on Feb 12. Order Number: 1617679. It was through their website www.funcinemas.com. These tickets haven't been delivered yet. The occasion for which they were booked is past.

                    I tried calling at their corporate office on[protected] to get the number of their Lucknow Centre but the four numbers given to me don't work. What should I do now? There is no professionalism whatsoever. The people receiving the phone also do not talk properly.

                    I want Fun Cinemas to take action immediately and if they cannot deliver the tickets, then please transfer the amount back. I vow never to deal with Fun Cinemas again and neither would I advise anyone. I shall also take legal action against them if they do not act in a day.

                      As of today, I have also not got any customer care no. of Fun Cinemas..I don't know what the hell they do ...My money has been debited thrice from my account...but I have not got any refund from [censored] Cinemas.Very dishonorable situation over there...No one gives any positive response
                      Same happened with me on 5th April 2012
                      I booked my tickets from account no.[protected] under order no.5927829, i was charged Rs 787.42 for the following order but i didn't get the booking ID and the cinema authority is refusing to give tickets for the show. I request you to kindly cancel this transaction n refund my money back into the account no. mentioned above. I shall be very thankful to you.

                        I had booked three movie tickets of 3 through online ticketing on 31st December 2009 trace id
                        : 1527200 @ Rs.315 at the fun cinemas website but it got cancelled due to congestion . Money had been debited from your account,they assured me that it shall be credited back within 7 working days.but still they have not credited back my money.I had booked the tickets by my PNB debit card A/c no.[protected]
                        Kindly look into the matter and make sure I get the amount back.
                        this movie should be named 4 , including you Satyen

                          I have recently went for movie in Fun cinema, Varsova - Mumbai. Screen no. 2.

                          I was zapped to see a very narrow exit provided. Its a small gallary leading to narrow stair case and small exit gate on the ground floor. Its so narrow that only one person can exit at some points on the entire stretch.

                          I hope this is against the exit norms for public places especially movie theaters, where approx. 200 - 500 people are packed in one big hall.

                          God forbids if any mishap occurs like what happend in 'Uphar cinema' years back.

                          Its pity on people like us who go for entertainment, without knowledge of adequate safety arrangements are there or not.

                          Movie Hall — Regarding Exit

                          Respected Sir,

                          Yesterday, we saw a movie on cinema hall. After the show was over. We were made compulsory exit from staircase. Now, we would like to ask something that when we are going to watch the show they will treat as a customer and they send us from lift or ascelator and after the compeletion of the show they just force us to go through from staircase. We are not complaining for the healthy people but we are complaining for the old age people and for the people who are suffering from some discomfort. Please do something for this as earliest as possible.

                            I had visited Fun Cinemas in June 2009, where i had not been provided suitable envoirment , as it is very hot season and airconditining was not working in the hall , as we have asked for the same, the refuse and than make execuse that airconditioning is working, than i asked to show the temperature , there was no temprature available. No toarchman was available to show you the seats, food made avilable to me was not of desired quality and standard , as i was served in bad positing as old food. The detailed complain is lodged at itself in the Cinemas, Jhotwara, J"aipur and than on the fun cinemas website on 21.06.2009, but i had not been given any reply as i had asked for the compensation and money back

                              Hello,

                              Good Morning.

                              I made a online booking on "www.funcinemas.com" under "Gift A Movie" section on July 27th 2009.
                              I booked 4 "movie gifts tickets" for the "Fun Cinema Multiplex, Shahdara, Delhi" centre.

                              I made a paymet through my ICICI Credit card for the amout of INR 1320/-. Amount has been charged & debited from my credit card account to Fun Multiplex, but Tickets Details not provided at that time & Tickets are also not delivered yet at the mentioned delivery address at delhi.
                              In my "Fun cinemas internet account" No ticket details are showing in "Booking History" section.

                              I wrote to Fun cinemas also about the same(under feedback section), but they are not responding.
                              Infact On thier website there is no section regarding "Complaints or Conflicts".
                              Phone contact numbers are given there but no body is responding on phone also.

                              I wrote to ICICI bank also regarding this and they replied & told me to communicate to Fun cinems because Transaction is been cleared from ICICI side & if conflict in trasaction is there from Fun Cinemas side than Fun Cinemas are the only source who can solve this issue.
