I visited Ganesh Driving School, Bangalore to apply for Learner License and Permanent License. After reaching the RTO office with the agent assigned to me by Ganesh Driving School, I found out that COVID test is mandatory. This was not informed to me by the school and later the agent started shouting saying that you should have known this by yourself. Because of this my first appointment at RTO office got canceled and was rescheduled for a later date. Then, in order to apply for the learner license they did not inform me about the type of passport size photo required. I submitted them one 1 passport size photo for the application which was rejected by the RTO office because my ears were not visible. I believe that it is the duty of the driving training school to notice and inform their clients about such kind of discrepancies in the application before hand. Again there is a gross negligence on part of the driving training school in giving proper information. But after requesting the officer who was handling my file in the RTO office and some adjustments here and there, my application got cleared.
Now while coming back to the driving training school to deposit balance amount and get appointment for application of permanent licence, they asked me to pay some extra amount which was again not communicated to me. The reason that they gave for the extra amount was that the RTO rules have changed and the path where driving test is to be given has got changed that's why they are charging extra and they wanted the money to be given in Cash. In COVID times when everyone is going cashless to reduce the risk of getting infection, I did not understand why they kept insisting of Cash Payment.
There staff is not well trained and the owner is hardly available. There staff does not understand hindi or english and if you tell them something in hindi they interpret it in some offensive manner and starts shouting at you and start the war of North India & South India.
