We purchased 2 ac units of panasonic (1 ton and 2 ton) on 30-march-2019 from girias j p nagar 1st phase.
Girias arranged for the panasonic installation guys to install the acs on 01-aor-2019.
Within one month of purchase, water started dripping from inside the 2 ton ac.
We raised a complaint immediately. The installation guy by name tabrez came and plastered some white cement to the wall and said the problem was resolved. Though we were not convinced as the water was dripping from inside the ac unit, we gave them benefit of doubt.
Again within a few days (8th may), water started dripping. This time we took video of water dripping and again raised complaint with girias. They again arranged for a service engineer from panasonic. Unfortunately when the service person arrived, water had stopped dripping.
It is so pathetic, the panasonic person claimed there was no issue because water was not dripping in front of him! This in spite of showing the video!
Since we insisted that the issue should be resolved, the service head of panasonic one guy called abishek (I don't know from where panasonic got hold of this guy for service!) started questioning us "how water can drip from ac?") we were shocked as they are the people who were supposed to find out how! The panosonic person went back saying that he would return if it dripped again.
There it was! Again it dripped after a few days. We again sent videos to girias and panasonic. After a couple of days a panasonic service guy by name mahesh came with the installation guy. Both of them again put some white cement and wrapped some tape around the ac pipe. We were patient enough and asked them what if it dripped again. The service guy affirmatively said it would not drip again.
This is where we approached girias and told them we would need a replacement if it dripped again. Girias manager mr. Mahesh, and a panasonic representative mr. Keshav agreed to this.
However, till date, the ac has poured water down a few times but nothing happened except panasonic sending a team again to "see the issue". This in spite of we sending videos of subsequent water dripping and even having a live video of the issue with girias and the panasonic installation guy tabrez. 19th june was the last time panasonic guys came to our office. We showed them the evidence of dripping and they said they would write a "report for replacement" (God knows if they really wrote any such report at all). There is no news from them after that.
Whenever we approached girias, they would say, they are trying with panasonic. At the end, we went and cautioned them that they have wasted enough time of ours and we would be forced to approach consumer court. This happened on 30-june-2019. Girias manager mahesh said they would get a response by 01-july before 2:00 pm. However there is no news from them till date.
This is the pathetic state girias and panasonic are at.
We really don't understand, how they can survive if you don't even care about customers.
We are very sure we are going to get girias and panasonic to pay for this by approaching the consumer court but the point is, as a customer, should we go through all this pain and waste our time after purchasing brand new products of panasonic from girias?
It is up to them now, to resolve this or let the situation go to consumer court. We can't wait any longer. So they have to be really quick. We will wait for two days and then proceed with legal course.
We have attached photos of the dripping here, as the videos are huge size and cannot be attached. Anyway all the videos are with girias mahesh and naveen. Videos have also been sent to panasonic guys including that guy abishek.
