In continuation to our below mail, I would like to inform you that we had a meeting with your Sales Team at Ambivli Godrej Riviera project on 8th Feb, 2023. It is disheartening to tell you that the sales team with whom we were co-ordinating since beginning always made false promises just for the sake of increasing sales. We assumed that such a brand would surely have some business ethics and would be customer centric but all these things shattered on 8th Feb, 2023.
In response to the mail shared by Ms. Soma Bhadra on 10th Feb, 2023 where the team offered payment flexibility option to us. Based on all the false promises made at the time of booking, it seems as a technique to not to make refund to us.
This is the last mail where I am sharing all the details of series of events that occurred with us in this last one year.
Hope you would read it till end and understand how we were looted by the sales team.
1) At the time of booking, We were clearly said that on booking two flats, their construction team will connect both the flats internally. Also in future if you cancel the booking, the entire amount will be repaid. This commitment was clearly made in the presence of shivam bhat and the Project Manager. The channel partners Mr. Namdeo Bhature and Mr. Prafull were also present at that time. That's why we informed your Channel partners to accompany us to this 8th Feb meeting. They confirmed that all the commitments were made to us. But it's disheartening to see that you don't believe on your own Channel partners.
Since all the web lies are now clearly open, Mr. Abhijeet Dash is denying on the commitments made.
Your sales team also states that we ourselves decided to cancel our agreement. Yes that was because the delay that the sales team showed us. They initially said to have a registration date in March 2023 and after that we were never informed about any particular date for registration.
After too much of follow up from Ms . Komal Mayekar, she shared draft agreement with us .
There were many points in the draft agreement which were not legally correct hence we noted every query and sent on an email with sales team. The same was ignored. We also had meeting with Ms. Soma Bhadra. No satisfactory reply received from her. Finally Ms. Soma suggested to take refund of stamp duty.
After 26 July 2022 and cancellation of the booking, Ms. Komal Mayekar stopped responding our calls.
In the August, I had a separate meeting with Mr. Abhijit Dash and your channel partner member Mr. Praful Shivalay. In that meeting too we were asked to withdraw the stamp duty amount since there will be a delay in registration due to some issue in 7/12. So we were asked to visit in October month.
Please note: We were also mentioned by Mr. Abhijeet Dash that at the site location, there was another builder's project going on and that builder is using road divider area for advertising purpose. Hence we were asked to get that divider area for GODREJ PROJECT advertisement purpose. In return it was said to us that the interest on delay in payments and increased 1% stamp duty (effective from 1st March) will be waived off for us.
All these promises and commitments were made to us in the Godrej Riviera project sales office in the presence of Mr. Prafulla Shivalay.
Later once again I visited your Godrej Riviera Vadavli sales office and met Ms. Konal Mayekar. I informed her about the entire above conversation between me and Mr. Abhijeet Dash. She also said she will help in solving all the above issues. After that Ms. Komal Mayekar never answered our calls or emails.
Post that someone from Godrej Riviera sales office called us and asked to visit for meeting with Mr rohit ramchamdani We went there at the given time but he was not available there. So we called him. At that time he mentioned that he is in Vikhroli office. We asked him why this meeting was scheduled when
he is not available. To which he disconnected the call rudely.
After few days we once again visited the sales office at Vadavli and met Mr. Abhijeet Dash who said that he will help in solving the issue on Friday. On Friday he said he will resolve issue on Tuesday. And then finally he mentioned since we were not able to get them advertisement place on divider, he will not help us.
This clearly shows to what extent the sales team can go ahead and do false commitments with customers. I am the local person of this area (Gaon wala) and I have been harassed by the sales team of Godrej. Hence after facing all such issues, we dropped an email to everyone who can help us. Post that email, all the senior persons of the sales team ( Mr. Abhijeet Dash, Ms Komal Mayekar, Mr. Rohit Ramchandani and Ms. Soma Bhadra) called on Saturday after working hours (around 7.00 p.m.) . Earlier we were everytime told that the team doesn't work on Saturdays but after mail, every sales team member suddenly became active and came forward to discuss the issue.
This is not how the company works. The team is just making false commitments to loot the hard earned money from the customers. 7 lakhs 43 thousand of rupees can be a small amount for you guys but for us it is our one year hard income. How can we forgo our hard earned money into the fraud project of Godrej Properties. This project is created only to loot the middle class innocent customers.
Finally I will conclude by clearly saying that we want to cancel the purchase of our both flats.
If I do not get refund of my Booking amount (INR 7, 43, 000) I will make sure that I go to social media and let everyone know how under the brand of Godrej such loot is going on. I will also go ahead and take a legal action.
Remember I will take refund of my hard earned money by hook or by crook.
