[Resolved]  Godrej Properties — Refund of money

I had book a flat in Godrej nirvaan towers phase 2 but I can’t go ahead with the booking.
I have paid 10 percent money and now have raised a request for cancellation of flat. I raised request on 3 March 2021.
But sales manager not giving any reply.

The company did not take any step to resolve my complaint. They just ignored my request and said that entire amount will be forefeit. In an helpless situation and tired of regular pleading I moved to RERA and filed a complaint. I am still ready to settle the matter I just want my money back. The builder is supposed to return the money. My flat is not registered. I am in money crisis and single mother to two small children plus I have responsibilities of my old parents also.Godrej is a big company. They should not refuse to return the money if customers. Around 6.5 lakhs is not a big money for Godrej to return but it is my savings of 5 years. Mr. Naveed Manna had called me after seeing my complaint but later he refused saying that since I have moved legally so nothing can be done. I didn’t want to go into legal if Godrej was ready to settle the matter again I say I was force to move legally by PR and sales executive head
Godrej Properties customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

I am exactly in same situation. I informed them within 10 days of paying 5% of application amount. Now since 13 days I am frantically emailing everyone within Godrej. Naveed is giving you an excuse saying that he can't help you because you chose legal channel. Today he tells me, that management will stick to forfeiting my 2 lakhs rupees so I can go through legal channels. So either ways they are interested in forfeiting customers money. No wonder, Godrej properties is planning to invest 1bn in coming years into business. Half the money will be from forfeited amount from customers. It is a shame that brand like Godrej, after years invested in building a brand have no concise.
