On 02/Dec/2018, I paid 10% of the booking advance amount for purchase of a plot with Godrej reserve. The sales person gave false promises during the booking time and didn't allow to read thru the application form.
Later when he sent me the full cost sheet, I was surprise to see more additional cost added to it and hence I was unable to raise fund for the same due to my financial constraints. So, i cancelled the booking and sent a formal cancellation mail on 03/Jan/2019. There was no agreement executed.
But my mail has been completely ignored and for my surprise, I received the allotment letter mail on 5th Jan 2019.
I spoke to the CRM Manager and the sales person. But there is no proper response from them till date on the refund part.
It's been more than 3 months, I haven't received any proper communication regarding my refund in-spite of repeated mails and phone calls with the Godrej customer care. I am really disappointed on how a customer is treated when he request for a cancellation. this will definitely discourages any consumer to think on buying properties with reputed builders like Godrej.
Since my cancellation mail has been sent before the allotment letter and agreement for sale is not executed, I am expected this booking advance amount to be refunded immediately.
I am planning to take legal action on this issue and publish to the concerned forums to create an awareness among people on how Godrej properties work. Was this information helpful? |
Despite giving several reminder for refunding the deposited amount, godrej 24, hinjewadi, not responding to any of my email and also not returning my booking amount . Kindly look into the matter before I go to consumer court for official legal procedure.
