I would like to tell you full incident in detail -
I along with my wife have visited godrej infinity in october 2016 and have shortlisted. Now its june 2017 we visited again and wanted to see the construction so that we can decide for booking.
We met mr. Kiran (Sr manager sales) - first of all we have to wait even when he was free, he introduce himself then asked about our requirement.
We told him we came here in october 2016 and we liked garden flat 2 and 3bhk and would like finalize it. Then we discussed which flats are available in which tower. We asked him what all buildings are in phase 2 in master plan.
Mr kiran replied "what you said apne to dekha hai october mein"
We told him yes but now we forgot then he told us about towers.
We asked him can we visit the under construction property since my wife is an architect and i am civil engineer and we would like to see the quality and take an actual feel of the apartment as we are going to spent our life time saving in this apartment.
Mr kiran replied no you cant, i wont allow.
We again asked him we will follow all instruction and we spent our 7 hours daily on under construct site so can you ask for permission.
Mr kiran again replied no you cant, it's our policy.
We again said can you get us in touch with senior member where we can raise this request, we are even ready to sign a paper for safety.
Mr kiran replied "madam you can’t i am the one uske upar kuch nahi hai. Aapko lena hai to lo else aap dekho jo bhi".
Now read above word again and decide the language? It’s not going to end here
He said 800 people brought this property without even checking or asking these questions.
Now we replied "we are not them we would like to see and none of the builder in pune refuses it unless of course they are hiding something"
Mr kiran replied but none of them are godrej properties.
I replied - i agree godrej is a trusted name but what’s wrong in checking the property, i am going to invest my life time saving and its going to cost me around 1cr so let us know where i can raise this?
Mr kiran replied - jis gali jana nahi uska rasta kyu pooch rahe ho aap, i will not allow, aap abhi flat le lo and after possession i will allow you.
Now my wife got pissed and replied - who are you to stopping me once i get the possession? And there will be someone above you since we know you are not pirojsha adi godrej and please talk properly.
I am sure he doesn’t even know founder’s name
Mr kiran replied madam jab allow kar hi nahi sakte to isko bol bhi kyu rahe ho, 800 people brought this property and unki demand nahi thi.
My wife went out of the room because of his arrogant language.
Now i told him just give the payment plan cost sheet and will see what we need to do.
Mr kiran gave me all costing sheet however he goofed up in calculation as well. Both garden and non-garden costings are same.
So i told how can this be possible, he said oh sorry i will send new plan on monday to your channel partner.
I told him ok and went out.
Conclusion - now tell me as a customer if i want to visit the property and check the quality what is wrong in that? When we brought a car we take test drive even when we buy a signature pen we hold it just to take a feel or comfort. So why are you stopping customer for visiting the property?
Initially when we came in october you guys have a superbly amazing staff at infinity leading by ms. Nandy, very punctual and always ready to serve but now sales office look like government office.
I was going to book the flat in infinity within a week or so but due to this arrogant behavior and not showing we are still in a doubt.
