Sir,
Ref. to above subject please note that Overhead water tank, more than 25 years old situated at block no 45 Marudidham housing board society Tarsali Vadodara, is in cracked condition and it is leaking full day till water finish and the leaking water is logged under the tank . Because of that, the building is in danger and unsafe situation as the water is penetrating into the ceiling and walls of room no.45/449 (Because the Water tank is placed just above- on the head of this room). Looking to the dangerous situation of the water tank and, the short - circuit of electricity, damage of electrical-Electronics item and un-safety the Room No.45/449 is keeping vacant for months. Sir/Madam, Also please note that the original capacity of the water storage cannot be bearable by this present cracked and weakened structure of the Water Tank, and the weakened and cracked walls of the building (walls of room No. 449) as the water tank is leaking 24x7. Any time they can be collapsed.
Therefore the concerned authority must visit the place and check the situation of 45/449 room walls and floors for your ready reference. Other flatmates are not bothering about the dangerous situation of the same as they believe it will not affect them which is not correct. Years back ( 5-6 years back I have already complained about the situation of this same cracked overhead water tank and somebody came to check and have taken the photographs also). But thereafter no action for renovation/restructure / removal or replacement of the OH water tank for the safety of the flat members.
Now I earnestly request the concerned authority to do the needful at the earliest for the safety of the public (for the sake of the flat members) by replacing the current water tank structure which is already in damaged and non-repairable condition, with a new water storage facility (HDPE water tank 1 or 2) which could bear the weakened, more than 20 years old walls of the flat, especially the Room No. 449 just below the water tank, as the walls are already cracked - though we have renovated the ceiling and room walls with new plaster costing about Rs. 10, 000/- 7 years back
Hope, the authority must look into the matter on a priority basis looking to the safety of the Low-Middle class residents, who are contributing all taxes regularly to pay the salaries of the Govt. Officers and politicians for their luxurious life.
Need urgent resolution.
