I basanti devi bhandari have water connection with can no:[protected] pipe size (0.75 inches) at my residence no: 6-1-679, khairtabad, hyderabad. i am using the connection since past 50 years purely for domestic purpose. the water bill collection officer also collects the charges every month from me for domestic connection. but last month all of sudden h. m. w. s.& s. b. gave me a bill of rs 2755/- for 16 units with commercial charges charged without any information.
Some 3 years back also the department did the same mistake by issuing me a bill with commercial charges where in i have a domestic connection. at that time i had submitted a written complaint to the g. m. of the concern department & personally visited the officer for 5-6 times & then on a complaint raised by me the officer came to my residence & verified thoroughly the connection & rectified the mistake done by the department by changing the category of my water connection from commercial to domestic category.
Now again 5 month back the same mistake has happened for which i have given a written complaint on[protected] to the department along with the previous complaint copy attached. i visited the office nearly 10 times to know about the status of my complaint but the concern officer was not available & the concern department is least bothered to see into my matter & solve my problem also advice me to pay the issued bill amount. though i am a prompt payer why should i pay for commercial category while i am using this connection for only domestic purpose.
On 2-6-16 my son met to the concern officer z i mr. gyaneshwar rao of the h. m. w. s.& s. b. red hills and requested him to look in to my complaint but he refused to go through my complaint and he told my son that he can’t do anything in this matter and told him to pay as per commercial category. so i am paying every month rs. 2755.50 for using only 10 units (kl) for counting my conection.
