Sir,
I had visited your branch and met branch manager to resolve the problem of aqb maintenance charge. As advised by branch manager i had written a letter requesting the waiving of aqb ser charges and also deposited rs. 5000/- as aqb on 27/12/2010. I was assured that on depositing the mab of rs. 5000/- the amount deducted would be refunded to me. This did not happen. Instead of this, after 1 month the latest statement received on 25/01/2011 reflects another deduction of rs. 330.90/- as aqb ser charges. This means i will pay rs.1323/- aqb charges for 1yr. This is adding fuel to fire. That too, after getting assurance from the branch manager. This is a price i pay for the loyalty of 2 yrs. On telephonic enquiries i was informed that the aqb has been raised to 10000/- minimum. This is arbitrary and unacceptable to me.
In last month, same incidence happened again with me. I had received sms stating amb charges 450/- for june and 300/- for july (Total 750/-) is debited from my account. Again visited to vikhroli branch, after discussion with branch executive, raised complaint at customer help desk (Complaint no.- mumr[protected]). Still not received any reply from bank executive. I was maintaining 5000/- as amb. Branch executive said amb change to 10000/-, but i didn't get any communication for same. How can i know this without any communication from bank? Still i deposited 5000/- more on 31/08/2017 to maintain amb (As said by bank executive) whatever interest i earned in last 7 years are credited to hdfc bank account under aqb/ amb charges. There is no need of this account if i am getting penalized instead of benefitted.
If an assurance in writing is given that the charges are waived and no more aqb/ amb charges will be levied, then i will continue this account. Otherwise, i wish to close my accounts immediately. Please do the necessary so that my money blocked in your bank is released for immediate investment in any nationalized bank like sbi.
